25.01.2022 Hello Families If you are eligible to receive payments from Centrelink, such as Child Care Subsidy (CCS) and Family Tax Benefit (FTB), you may be asked to provide your family income estimate for the 2020-21 financial year. You need to do this even though you aren’t currently paying child care fees. This is because Centrelink will use this estimate to work out how much CCS and FTB you will get next financial year.... There’s more information about updating your family income estimate for the 2020-21 financial year on the Services Australia website.

We had the pleasure of Jason Dimer visiting and telling us the story and meaning of the painting. We are proud to be wearing the design and look forward to continuing to work with the Dimer family.

16.01.2022 With ANZAC Day this Saturday Kinder Way have been busy making so great poppy art and craft. They have used water bottles to stamp the top of the poppy. They have also painted the inside of egg cartons red and black, these would be cut out and hung from string to display. Lest We Forget

15.01.2022 We have been very busy at the service over the past few weeks. We have welcome the lovely ladies from MT Dance back to the centre to do dance and movement with the kids. We celebrated National Tree Planting Day on Friday 31.07.20, with all rooms plant a new tree in their yards. We will have some lovely mandarins, plums and blueberries to share. Then yesterday we had the lovely ladies from Goldfields Family Dental come and share with us the best practice for brushing our teeth as part of Dental Awareness Week this week.

06.01.2022 Our Nippers room has been super busy these school holiday. They have visited the cinema, the museum, the community garden, Kingsbury Park and Jimbo's Ice cream Shop. They have had lots of fun making different craft aswell.

03.01.2022 Happy 45th birthday to GCCC Wow what an achievement ! I’m so proud to be the Director of our amazing Long Day Care and OSHC service. We celebrated today with a glorious feast provided by Sparkle Bake N Pop the children and educators enjoyed this very much. We awknoweldge employees for their years of service and handed out awards to them . They were for five or more years: -Danielle Caunt... -Veronica Nyguen -Emmarose Varga -Karen Hatch -Andra Webb -Rachel Booker 14 years of service - Kylie Gallo 17 Years of service -Maureen Nicholls Along with this we also made Maureen a very dedicated Educator a HONORARY MEMBER of Goldfields Child Care Centres And yes tears were shed but they were happy tears ! We love our families and the children are the BEST ! Thankyou to all of our wonderful Educators for their dedication and support to families Thankyou to our wonderful amazing Parent committee who continue to give up their valuable time and always have GCCC’s best interest at heart and love and care about the centre Here are just some of the photos from the day keep a look out in the Kal Miner for our article.

02.01.2022 Today we are celebrating our educators, on Early Childhood Educator Day. During these uncertain times we have continued to provide care to our families and this could not be done without the amazing work of our educators. 02.01.2022 Hello Families Don't forget tomorrow at 2:30pm we will be having our Father’s Day BBQ. We would like to invite all the special men in your child’s live. Anyone and everyone are welcome to attend. If that person can’t make it Mum’s are welcome to come as well.... We will be drawing our Father’s Day Raffle at the BBQ; some lucky families will go home with some great prizes.

02.01.2022 Last Friday we celebrated National Pyjama Day by all coming dresses on our comfy pjs. We would like to than kall our amazing families we raised $108 for the National Pyjama Foundation that help children in foster care. We also had pizza for lunch and supported the Kalgoorlie Dog Adoption Inc we ordered 39 pizzas for both services and donated $78. As you can see pjs and pizza was a great hit with the kids.
