11.01.2022 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Good Evening Everyone! While the committee may have been quiet on social media over the last few months, rest assured we have been hard at work in the background! We have been researching, learning and keeping up to date with the latest health warnings from the West Australian Government in regards to COVID-19 and large social gatherings in WA for the year 2020.... As our wonderfully supportive community already knows, the charity’s mission is to raise much needed funds for sick kids and their families in the Goldfields, and we can’t do this without the generosity of the many incredible local businesses and people of the Goldfields. We know that times have been tough for some over the last 6 months, and we want to thank everyone for their support of our charity during this trying time. With our mission in mind and all of our wonderful beneficiaries, the committee have made the decision to postpone our ‘Celebrate’ Ball until next years date of Saturday March 13, 2021 (as long as govt guidelines permit). We want everyone to really be able to celebrate when we do have the ball and while it was a heart-breaking and difficult decision to make, we do feel that it is a safe and sensible one. All table sponsors have been contacted by email in regards to tables for the new 2021 date. If you have any questions please contact your table organiser, or alternatively send us a message on our Facebook page. Thank you again for your generosity and support of our local charity. A great day with plenty of great 80’s outfits and lots of running for those that attended. 03.01.2022 The Goldfields Children Charity Committee would like to advise we have made the heartbreaking decision to postpone the Goldfields Children Charity Ball on Saturday 21st March 2020. A couple of hours ago we started contacting our sponsors and suppliers to advised of our decision and further details will be advised on a new date as soon as we can.
