25.01.2022 Dear Members, Due to the recent changes to the COVID-19 situation in Australia, the Goldfields Touch Association sadly wish to advise that the GRAND FINALS scheduled for Saturday 28th March have been cancelled and will not be rescheduled. This decision is in line with the latest updates from Touch Football Australia. The GTA Committee has convened, and in consultation with Touch Football Australia and Touch Football Western Australia, have concluded that the two successful s...emi-finalist teams will be declared joint winners for each grade. Date: 24th June 2020 Time: 6:30pm Venue: Oasis Touch Clubrooms, Osmetti Drive All positions declared vacant and are as follows: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, 7x Committee members to fill the following positions: Registrar, Ref Coordinator, Publicity Officer, Development Officer, Senior State Coordinator, Junior Comp Coordinator etc We are hoping to also have a Sub Committee - they will support the executive committee & help as required. 16.01.2022 Fixtures for Round 10, December 18th This is the FINAL round for 2020 and the season will resume with Round 11 on January 30th. We will have Santa down at the fields this weekend straight after the 12&U’s (approx. 5:45pm)... On behalf of the GTA committee we hope everyone has a safe & enjoyable Christmas and New Year, we hope to see you all back in for the second half of our season in January.

15.01.2022 CORONA VIRUS Hi All, As you know the Corona virus (COVID-19) is in full swing now and the government have put restrictions in place.... The Committee are keeping their ear to the ground on new information being updated daily. At this stage all finals are still a GO!!!! We May have to impose restrictions before finals take place but we will keep everyone updated via our Fb page. Restrictions may include the following: 1. Limit numbers to 100 only per time slot to attend games. 2. Only players, coaches & Committee may attend finals 3. 1 metre distancing rule from one person to another. 4. No team huddles, high fives, hand shakes etc (safe distancing). Obviously off the field. Would be a bit hard on the field. If you are feeling sick please stay home so that germs can’t be passed on. Make sure to WASH your hands all the time & also use sanitiser. Please DO NOT PANIC but be vigilant!!!! Thanks GTA Committee.

14.01.2022 ********2020/21 Summer Competition******** Good Afternoon All, The Committee have been working behind the scenes to get the Summer Competition up and running this season, which is just a bit over 6 weeks to go!!!!... Please keep an eye out for updates here on our Facebook page and also through email as well. DATES TO REMEMBER 31st August - Team registrations open 21st September - Teams can start training. Training days are now Monday & Wednesday nights. Juniors 3pm until 5.45pm (as long as juniors are off by 6pm sharp), Seniors 6pm til 8pm Please note: NO TEAMS ARE ALLOWED TO TRAIN ON THE FIELDS ON TUESDAY & THURSDAY NIGHTS AS THESE ARE BOOKED BY TEEBALL from 3pm until 8pm. 6th October - Team registrations close 7th October - Captains meeting, 6.30pm at the clubrooms 17th October - Competition starts Level 1 & 2 referee's course - TBA 19th December - Last game before Christmas Dates for 2021 to follow soon. Junior grades are: 9U (7, 8, & 9yr olds) - 6 year olds can play, but will need written consent from the parents before the season starts, and our Junior co-ordinator will also assess to ensure the 6 year olds are confident to play in the competition. The child must be 6 before the start of the first competition game 12U (10, 11, 12yr olds) 15U (13, 14, 15yr olds) A child may play up to a higher grade (if competent) but can not play below their age group Senior grades are: A, B, C, D & E 12 year olds may play in the senior competition with written consent from their parent before the first competition game. 13.01.2022 Good Morning All, The GTA Committee have decided that once your team has been registered, you will now need to book a field for training. Due to the number of teams in the past we are only allowing half fields to be booked at this time. However, if you have more than one team and are training together a whole field may be used.... Please email [email protected] with your preferred time and day and you will receive a confirmation email. Don't forget training days for the GTA are Monday's & Wednesday's. Fields can be used from 3pm until 6pm (as long as juniors are off the fields from 6pm) for juniors and 6pm until 8pm for seniors. Toilets will not be open until 4.30pm each training day (sometimes earlier if we can)

Saturday 30th January - Games start back (round 11) Saturday 13th February - GENERAL BYE for Senior States in Perth Saturday 20th February - Round 13 Saturday 27th February - GENERAL BYE Long weekend Saturday 6th March - Last round robin game Saturday 13th March - SEMI-FINALS Saturday 20th March - GRAND FINALS Please note: Due to the Open grade now only having 11 teams in the competition, teams will then be split from highest to lowest on the ladder after round 11 into the following: Top 3 teams - A grade (1st, 2nd & 3rd) Next 4 teams - B grade (4th, 5th, 6th & 7th) Bottom 4 teams - C grade (8th, 9th, 10th & 11th) The A grade team that finishes highest on the ladder after round 14 will go straight to Grand finals leaving the other 2 teams to fight it out in semi's.

05.01.2022 Hi all, Welcome to Goldfields Touch Association Summer Mixed Touch Season 2020/2021. Registrations are now open. There’s been a few changes during the last 6 months with the online website and program used to manage Touch Football Australia wide, so you will see some small differences when teams and players go to register. Team Managers ONLY are asked to Register your team from the touch football website as follows:... https://touchfootball.com.au/ Put in your postcode 6430/6432 or Kalgoorlie or goldfields and search, and Kalgoorlie should appear. Once Team Registration is complete you can send email invite members into that team and you should also receive email confirmation with a link to send to your players. Registration fees will be Under 18’s $60 per season (whether they’re playing in Senior or Junior competitions) and 18+ will be $120 per season. Online payment at registration is required to complete your registration process otherwise you WILL NOT be registered. We have tentatively set up Senior Competition with Grade A to Grade E. Junior Competitions have been set the same as last season, that is, 9&U, 12&U and 15&U. Please note that the system is set so players who DO NOT meet the age parameters will NOT be able to register as players in that competition. (players can play above, but not below their age group) Please select your teams correct grade. At the moment it is a EOI as we are trying to get this round up and running prior to the Senior Mixed Touch rounds.... The mixed summer touch competition will still be avaialble and eligible to play in, the timeslots for mixed touch teams will be looked at being played on the 7pm & 8pm rounds if the Mens & Womens round at 6pm proceed.
