The COVID-19 pandemic is a serious threat to our ukulele community, with most of our members falling into the 'high risk' category one way or another. Even though our club rooms remain closed, our minds have remained open to learning. Members will continue to meet online via ZOOM for weekly jams & skills workshops.... 01.01.2022 Goldfields Ukestra is officially up and running for 2021, and as we comply with the states COVID rules and regulations we are still managing to have fantastic weekly club catch ups. 2020 wasnt all bad as lots of learning happened via ZOOM including teaching all members how to read TAB. Here is a little ensemble piece written by our good friend and fellow ukulele lover Sally's Ukulele, from her self published 'Ukulele Ensemble Songbook' which is our official club ensemble book.
