25.01.2022 Ya know things are getting serious when "Shirley the Shitta" arrives onsite! Our first ever Aussie Gold Rush camp gets underway soon and is now fully booked. 24.01.2022 Never stops around here......the bore at the Sunday Mine is now metered! New rules came in where water bores have to be metered and reported on to DWER. Interestingly, there are cheapish ways to do it and very expensive ways to do it......for example we had quotes up to 5k!! If anyone has to go through the same process just get in contact and I'll go through how we got it done for less than 10% of that.

15.01.2022 alrighty....following on from the success of the first "Aussie Gold Rush Camp"...we're doing it again! Our second camp is on from Monday August 31 to September 4th. Our camps are all about you becoming part of the crew, friendships and good times. There may be gold....or there may not.....it's prospecting! 15.01.2022 I have just spoken to people within the Leonora community and am pleased to say that at this stage, there is no intention to close the caravan park or other accommodation options. Like everywhere, there will be strict hygiene protocols in place and hopefully common sense will prevail! Our training courses are still on and begin on April 13th. There will be some minor changes with regards to seating and hygiene measures but at this stage it's 'steady as she goes". An email explaining our position will be sent out to our 'database' later this morning. Personally, I can't think of a better time to get out bush and find some metal.

10.01.2022 Got a little 9.6ha lease for sale. Good history of alluvials. Main creek has been pushed but needs re-opening. Lots of small gold has come from the surface and would prob suit a small dryblower and bobcat. Economic detectable gold has long gone. About 4 years to go on lease. P37/8601.... 06.01.2022 Righto....here it is.....Lisa and I are excited to finally launch our "Aussie Gold Rush Camps" We had a couple of false starts....me with a broken knee and in general with the rona....but we are confident that we will get a start soonish! The camps are all about the most important part of prospecting...the people. Having said that, we will be out on one of our private leases...using machinery and trying to scare up some metal. You've seen the TV shows...this is your chance to see it for real and be part of the crew. Things are still weird with regional borders etc and so we can't set dates just yet, but if you think this may be for you then we need you to register your interest with a simple email and you will get first crack. Goldtalk Leonora is the only training and bush camp company that is owned and run by professional prospectors...we live and breath prospecting and love passing on our knowledge and passion for gold.
