24.01.2022 Yay!!! Well done everyone, restrictions are now easing. The new rules for our club are as follows. Golf can now be played in groups of 4 with social distancing still in place which means only 1 player per cart unless houshold members. No shotgun start; players will be asked to tee-off soon after arrival, Captain will be there from 7. 30 to help you with this. Handicap board and scorecards will be on the table, players are asked to score their own cards and no double signing o...f the cards. Flags are now back in with removal of flag using gloved hand whenever possible. Clubhouse will only be open for washroom facilities, no food is available. Players may sit and socialise after the game, while adhering to the social distancing rule and a total of 10 people at any one time. Mens Monthly medal will be held on Sunday the 24th of May and Ladies is on Wednesday the 20th of May. No presentations will be held after the game, winners names will be written on the board and balls to be collected next time they play. Ladies are asked not to play on Sundays (until further notice) to limit the number of players. Hopefully if things progress; we will be back to normal on the 13th of June. Remember if you are feeling unwell, have a cold or fever, please Do Not come to golf, lets keep everyone safe. Cheers See more

12.01.2022 Well, unfortunately with all the new restrictions society is trying to cope with; the Baffle Creek Golf Club has decided to NOT host anymore official games until further notice. "Clubs have been asked by the Office of Federal Sports Minister to actively discourage the congregation of players." Members and visitors may still get together with a couple of mates to play a round of social golf by using the honesty box (please ensure you sanitize your hands before collecting sco...recards and money envelopes.) Any golfers MUST adhere to the strict soial distancing laws. The Clubhouse will NOT be opening and socializing after the game is not permitted. Flags have been removed from the greens to stop cross contamination. New rules will be posted on the front door, so please everyone if you are going to have a hit; abide by these rules. If everyone does the right thing and just stays home, hopefully the storm will pass shortly. We are all lucky to live in such a pristine part of the world and can't wait for life to return to normal. Stay safe. Regards Baffle Creek Golf Club See more

02.01.2022 Hi, hope everyone is still doing the right thing and staying home in self isolation. Just a quick note to verify a bit of confusion. Golf Australia are starting to lift a few rules; unfortunately the reopening of these clubs refer to the ones that had CLOSED down completely and are opening under the guidelines that we have adopted since the beginning. Nothing has changed at the moment; no golf competitions are allowed and golf can only be played for the sole purpose of exercise with only 2 people per fairway. Congregating after the game is not permitted and players must leave the grounds on completion of their game. Hopefully if everyone continues to do the right thing, life can return to normality soon. Stay safe and enjoy your time at home. Cheers
