24.01.2022 Hi Golf Frenzy followers and as we come to end of what has been a very enjoyable experience, but as per our post last week Golf Frenzy is now amalgamating with GenYgolf and as such this FB page will be closing later this week. We than you all for your support over the last 2 years and don't forget Perth Social Golfers FB page is still there for all those casual golfers who just want a knock amongst friends. 21.01.2022 Well what a day we had today at the last every Golf Frenzy event before we move to GenYgolf tomorrow. We had the final of the singles matchplay between Jason Zerella and Gary McCarthy where both went into the match super confident but after 5 long hours their match finished all square which everybody was surprised at given Gary was giving Jason 11 shots. So the guys took to the 10th hole again for the first playoff hole where eventually Jason ground down Gary and took the win.... So a huge congrats to Jason who will hold the singles matchplay champion forever now as we move forward into our golfing chapter.

13.01.2022 After what has to be the hardest conditions of the year so far only a few brave souls ventured out today at Secret Harbour and hat's off to you for doing so. 12.01.2022 The semi finals of the singles matchplay was held today at Kwinana GC and in what was perfect conditions with lightning fast green was saw a couple of great matches. A big congratulations to both winners Gary McCarthy & Jason Zerella in making it to the final. Gary overcame a stubborn Carl Davies and won the match on the 18th hole having gone into the last hole all square.... Jason overcame Phil Martin slightly easier with a solid 5 & 3 win. The final date and venue will be confirmed later so watch this space for more details.

09.01.2022 What a great day for golf albeit a little windy, the golf today at Kennedy Bay was mixed as ever but the course was fantastic and a very well played to Andy Harris who won today's stableford competition with a great score of 35pts in very testing windy conditions. 08.01.2022 After recent feedback on courses we have updated the comp schedule with some courses TBC, we therefore ask you to put forward your preferred courses to fill the slots available. We also ask if Hillview is in good condition and worth a visit? We still have the Spring trip listed for upcoming events and ask if people still want this given the lack of support for it last year as I will need to start thinking about it now, if so what are peoples cost limits and preferences?

06.01.2022 Hi everyone and following on from the post yesterday it is with great excitement that we confirm that Golf Frenzy & GenYgolf have amalgamated in WA with Golf Frenzy taking on the GenYgolf name and from Monday 16 July 2018 the Golf Frenzy FB page will be closing. We encourage everybody to see this as a positive move forward for our members and followers as it will now provide a much larger member base both here in WA (100+ members) and nationally (1500+) but also I will become... the WA Operations Manager for GenYgolf so I will still be actively involved moving forward. The guy's at GenYgolf have put forward a great feel and package for the WA market at a very competitive rate and all new members are welcome, they are new and like Golf Frenzy are keen to provide its members with the best possible deals at the best courses. 01.01.2022 It was also the last monthly medal of the Golf Frenzy era where all players battled it our for supremacy at Carramar and in between the showers there was some glimpses of great golf by a few but alot was shown by the eventual winner Matt Hargreave who on 73 took out the honours for the day. He did not stop there and also took out the longest drive and has bragging rights forever as the longest driver in the club but we have to say the shot of the day went to Phil Martin who got closest to the pin with the ball only being 30cm from the pin on the tough par 3 of the day. A huge congrats to everybody who played and once again thankyou to all members who now move over the GenYgolf tomorrow where we hope to be taking out a few prizes soon.
