18.01.2022 Calling all single figure handicappers. We are seeking expressions of interest from single figure golfers who are interested in playing in the Skipworth Cup. This event is a Golf SE Vs Riverland Golf annual event which will be held at the Barmera Golf Club on 7th and 8th March 2020. (long weekend) Golf SE will cover accommodation costs.... Teams are 10 players per side and the format for the cup is Foursomes and better ball on Saturday. Individual match play on Sunday. 09.01.2022 Golf Australia would like to invite those girls aged between 10 to 14 to attend their "Girls Golf Camp', this April. The camp is held 20th to 22nd April at Scotch College, Adelaide. This camp is very much about the concept of golf and the skills required to play the game.... 06.01.2022 Our golfing group went on a 3 day golfing trip from our homes in Adelaide driving to and playing Naracoorte and then Penola on day one followed by Mount Gambier... golf club (Attamura) and Blue Lakes golf club on day two then finishing off playing Millicent and then Lucindale on day three. All courses have WATERED FAIRWAYS AND GREENS. We had a fantastic time and can highly recommend this as a great short golfing holiday. Penola Golf Course was in very good condition...... a course maintained by its members. Everyone should be very proud of the presentation of the Golf Course and your efforts to maintain it. A great layout out in a very peaceful setting. Many dog legs with strategically placed trees. Be sure to add Penola to your bucket list of golf courses to play in country SA. See more
