19.01.2022 NOT YOUR BASIC BATCH | Born and raised in Wetherill Park, the talent behind bakedbydanielle.syd is a local girl, heart + soul. By day, Danielle Ann is a teacher of Technology and Applied Sciences at a local high school. She had planned for a career as a pastry chef, but instead was inspired to become a cooking teacher. At university, she majored in food and textiles with a specialisation in food. ... Having trained and worked in hospitality since the age of 16, she realised her passion for making and creating food early on. By night, this talent creates customisable, personalised fondant cookies for all occasions. She has also developed her own range of amaretti flavours, and there are more mouthwatering flavour combinations in the works. We really do think of Danielle as part of our #gcrfamily. Her (insanely addictive) cookies are available in our Brew Bar each Friday and Saturday. She delivers the fresh bakes, and we whip up and pipe the fillings. Its a match made in sandwich cookie heaven. We have fun sharing and sourcing our flavour inspo each week, but its our brew bar regulars who love to weigh in with their all-time favourite combos! This clever cookie didnt allow isolation to keep her business from thriving. After brainstorming a seed of an idea with our very own Clarissa, and enlisting the design skills of the wonderful Stella Georgiou, Danielle realised there was an opportunity to put both her teaching AND baking skills to use! It’s no secret that @celloliqueur founder, Domenico Cece, is in constant pursuit of perfection when it comes to the ingredients that form the basis of his internationally-acclaimed liqueurs. That same desire spills over into his love of coffee. About three years ago, Domenico found us as he was driving along The Horsley Drive in Wetherill Park and he noticed our newly ins...talled sign. In light of the recent Covid 19 clusters breaking out in our local area, weve made the (very) difficult decision to take a small break from our BREW BAR and ROASTERY DOOR as of Saturday July 25. Our number one priority is to keep our little family, our customers and cafe partners safe so that we can continue to roast and supply your favourite coffee. Weve deliberated, debated and made this decision in order to maintain the integrity of our supply chain.
