11.01.2022 GO Offshore is urgently seeking the following Officers for long term work in Australia joining circa first week in November in Indonesia. Chief Mate Unlimited Deck Watchkeeper Unlimited... Consideration can only be given to those interested that meet the following minimum/non-negotiable requirements (unless where noted): ECDIS IMO Model Course 1.27 Furuno TECDIS (preferred) DP Unlimited (Chief Mates)/DP Advanced (Second Mates) Designated Security Duties BOSIET (preferred but top up training for those holding TBOSIETs will be arranged) HLO/HERTM/HERTL (preferred) Azimuth Drive (preferred) The vessel is the Surf Supporter, a new build 4863 GT Multi-purpose Support Vessel. GO Offshore is also seeking a Master Unlimited for the SeaFrost, joining circa 19th October. Master must hold ECDIS IMO Model Course 1.27, DP Unlimited and must be experienced with Azimuth Drive Vessels these criteria are non negotiable. All candidates should be either Australian citizens or residents and already hold the right to work in Australia. Underwater vehicles will search for missing Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 further south than previously expected, after the Australian Transport Safety Bureau revised their views of the planes last movements. Three search vessels are preparing to start a yearlong scan of the ocean bottom for wreckage of the aircraft, which disappeared March 8 with 239 people on board....
