19.01.2022 You are NOT a bad mum! Because you need a moment to yourself Because you raised your voice when you were frustrated Because you got frustrated... Because you forgot an appointment Or for any other reason you keep beating yourself up... Your brain is in overload, you're always on emotionally and sometimes something has to give... Remember you aren't alone, we all get this way and there is no shame in taking a moment to just reset. Big love mumma, you are doing an amazing job

16.01.2022 NEW MUM MOTIVATORS! Being a new mum is daunting, even if it's the second or third time, there is always different variables that make motherhood challenging. So, so many mums have an unrealistic expectation to get back to pre baby weight by a certain time, and the reality is it just doesn't work that way. ... My tip, shift focus, move it to becoming active, to getting outside, and to nourishing yourself as best as you can. ie. Give yourself a step Goal - even if it's only 3000 (that's 3000 steps you may not have done before) I have at 11 months PP only just increased mine to 7000 as I still sit and feed so often throughout the day. Get outside- Just 10 minutes a day will help you feel better, release endorphins, and encourage serotonin release. Eat- We forget too often to eat when we are fussing over baby, nuts, seeds, and fruit are great quick snacks you can have on the go or while baby feeds (limit caloric intake through drinks as food will keep you fuller for longer.)

16.01.2022 The Program Mums have been waiting for, launches next week... Have you secured your spot?

16.01.2022 Stop comparing your post baby body to your pre baby body... You made a human being! It will be changed in some capacity, forever. Sure some women 'bounce back... But at what cost? One mumma may be calorie counting and training so hard that she's affected her joints and ligaments, permanently and on top of that her goal to breastfeed has been thwart because her body just can't do it all. Some women are blessed with great genetics meaning their stomach stretches and all goes back into place, but they might pee themselves when they sneeze. Other mums may choose to take it easy, only walk or workout 1-2 times a week because bubs is super demanding and any more than that is overwhelming. It's not a race, it's not a competition... It's a Marathon mumma, look after your body. Because it's the only one you have X

10.01.2022 Let me just start by framing this with: I am honoured to be Thomas mother I am blessed that I am able to have children I would never change our decision to become parents for the world This is not a cry for help And I don't need to be told I'm doing a good job! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Our little Boy, and would do anything to keep him happy, healthy and safe. He is the best person in the whole world rivaled only by his father. BUT! You wanted Honest.... Here it is, No holes barred, R...Continue reading

01.01.2022 LETS TALK DOMING AND DIASTASIS RECTI Left: Notice the cone shape on the stomach, this is caused when the abdominal wall has separated, and when this occurs during exercise, it is evidence that the exercise is too advanced and it needs to be scaled back. Right: In this image there is no dome, meaning the abdominal wall is holding in tissue and muscle as it should be, exercise resulting in this placement are often viewed as safer... *Note that most women will have separation during pregnancy, because where else will baby grow. But we need to protect our bodies. Stay in the realm of safe, and comfortable when pregnant. AND AFTER.... there are no prizes for going too hard.
