22.01.2022 If you missed ABC Classic's replay of the Gondwana World Choral Festival last Sunday, you can listen to it at the link below. Vanessa Hughes, presenter of ABC Classic Drive, reflects on the Festival: 'Seven days of choral concerts, numbering 17 in all seems even more of a pipe dream today than it did in July 2019. For a whole week Australian audiences poured into the Conservatorium of Music in Sydney and the Sydney Opera House to hear children sing their songs from home and... pieces they’d taught each other. While international choir competitions are wildly popular and happen all over the world, the Gondwana World Choral Festival set itself apart by hosting a chock-full program with no prizes to be won at all.' It's a joy to relive the memories from this spectacular week of music! Featuring Boston Children's Chorus, Rgas Doma meiteu koris TIARA / Riga Cathedral Girls' Choir TIARA, La Cigale de Lyon, Guangdong Experimental Middle School Choir, Inner Mongolia Youth Choir, ETV Tütarlastekoor / Estonian TV Girls Choir, Toronto Children's Chorus, Nagoya Children's Choir and the combined Sydney Children's Choir. https://www.abc.net.au///gondwana-world-choral-10/12713882
