23.01.2022 On my walk along the Noosa River recently I came across a colony of bats in a paper bark swamp and some were at eye level, I got so excited I had to return home and get my camera. It was just before sunset and they were starting to stir and get ready to head out in search of their dinner so were quite active. I know they have a reputation of being destructive and smelly however they are actually quite amazing creatures. In the photos were they are bunched together, I'm certain they were cuddling!

16.01.2022 Gone Walkabout - Carnarvon Gorge! With my time in Rocky having come to an end and my soul and spirit in need of some nurturing, I thought what better way to transition back to life on the Sunny Coast than with a road trip via Carnarvon Gorge, (via Blackdown Tableland) with two of my Besties, Florence and Anne. WOW, what an extraordinarily beautiful and amazing place, needless to say we had a fabulous time. We walked, we climbed, we talked, we laughed, we sang, we swam and we were all totally blown away by the beauty of this gorgeous place. If you haven't been, put it on the bucket list, you'll be glad you did! Feeling very grateful

02.01.2022 This is what Winter on the Sunshine Coast Australia looks like :) I did actually have to borrow a jacket when the wind blew up though! Well done to the NYRC Youth Development Team, such skill, focus and determination and perhaps more good luck than good management. Well done y'all :)
