24.01.2022 Other than supply replica or reproduction medals and racks to currently serving and past members of the ADF, law enforcement, fire and emergency services, and their families - we design and produce a raft of service memorabilia. We do presentation plaques and framed medals and memorabilia, commemorative mugs (coffee for the use of), mouse mats, stubby holders, name badges for individuals and associations, placemats for mess dinners - we even design, print and laminate appreciation certificates :-). If we don't make it, we can usually point you in the right direction ...

23.01.2022 Royal Australian Navy frigate HMAS Ballarat has seized more than 3.1 tonnes of hashish worth about $155 million* during a boarding operation that took place 8-9 January 2019 in international waters in the Arabian Sea. The fishing vessel, known as a dhow, was believed to be engaged in illegal activity when Combined Task Force 150 (CTF 150) of the Combined Maritime Forces (CMF) directed Ballarat to board the vessel and conduct a flag verification check. Ballarat’s boarding tea...m searched the dhow and seized the hashish. The drugs were transferred to Ballarat for disposal. Commanding Officer of HMAS Ballarat, Commander Paul Johnson, said the boarding team conducted the night-time boarding professionally. He said the team found the drugs hidden in voids around the vessel. The seizure is a reflection of the continued trade in illegal narcotics which has the potential to fund terrorist groups across the region, Commander Johnson said. More; http://ow.ly/PTQX30noU3J

21.01.2022 RAAF Base Williamtown Hawk Lead-In Fighter aircraft will return to the Salt Ash Air Weapons Range (SAAWR) to conduct fighter training for aircrew from Monday, 4 February, 2019. The jets from Number 76 Squadron aircraft have scheduled three weeks of operations on the range from 4-22 February, during weekdays only. PC-9 aircraft from Number 4 Squadron will conduct essential training during the weeks of 18 February through to 15 March, and then during week of 8-12 April. PC-9 ai...rcraft will also operate during the week of 17-21 June. Number 4 Squadron will support essential Joint Terminal Attack training for Army throughout this period. Number 2 Operational Conversion Unit, which operates the F/A-18A/B Classic Hornet, will not utilise the range for the first six months of 2019 due to the Air Warfare Instructor Course commitments. Commander Air Combat Group (ACG), Air Commodore (AIRCDRE) Michael Kitcher said residents living in East Medowie, Salt Ash and Lemon Tree Passage can expect the range to be used consistently throughout this period. Aircrew always minimise their use of the range and once proficiency has been attained they move onto the next stage of their course, AIRCDRE Kitcher said. Salt Ash use for 2018 was 41 days in total for ACG, which included 24 days for Hawks, five days for Hornets, and 12 days’ additional use for PC-9. More; http://ow.ly/sZk630noUao

02.01.2022 WARNING ORDER - PLEASE SHARE This lady is a current serving member of the Royal Australian Navy who was on leave looking after her parents who had been in a nas...ty car accident. While she was away from her home in the Hastings Victoria area, thieves broke into her home and stole her medals. Her pride in her service is so strong that she has two sets of gongs, the originals and a set of replicas she wore at times to keep her real ones safe. Because these lowlife scum stole her originals they will be easy to identify as they will have her surname (NAVIN) on them. Please share and help us find this sailors medals.
