25.01.2022 When aerating, we flag out irrigation or other important obstacles.

24.01.2022 We do green waste and rubbish removal. Ask if we can help with what you have, (no nappies).

23.01.2022 I've been doing alot of aeration lately. This service removes cores of soil leaving holes in the ground. Improves lawn by reducing compaction, allowing air, water and nutrition access to the root zone. Healthier roots equals healthy lawn.

20.01.2022 Two weeks ago we completed a new lawn, to compliment a comprehensive irrigation install by Autoflow Irrigation please find posts about it on their page. I really only lay turf if irrigation is installed, only two weeks and the roots have taken well enough to mow, as seen in pics.

20.01.2022 A quick before and after catching another larger area with the Walker.

19.01.2022 Still dominating in winter naturally. Some lawn contracters will try sell you pigment. Which is basically spray painting the grass.

15.01.2022 Cleaned the Walker after the 1st day of use. It does a really good cut and also cleans up small twigs and leaves. Pic is of a lawn that gets minimal sun and its winter, it was full of leaves, forgot to do a before pic. I've only just got this machine, so looking for larger lawns that want the best cut.

15.01.2022 Have a read of a few good tips to keep the yard watered, by Autoflow Irrigation. Level 2 Water Restrictions kick in tomorrow for those on Sydney Water’s potable (drinking water) supply. The 15 minutes per zone, per day is not the smartest way to water your lawns and gardens, but it is what they have come up with. Everyone in the irrigation and horticulture industry, as well as lawn and garden enthusiasts know it’s better to water deeply less often rather than a little splash... every day. Deep infrequent watering promotes deep root growth as they go searching for moisture deep down, making your plants and turf much more drought tolerant. The best way to give your lawns and gardens a deep watering with this ridiculous 15 minute per zone, per day rule is to run one program as late as possible (10-11pm start time) on say Monday/Wednesday/Friday, and then another program starting at midnight on Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday. This is as close as you’ll be able to get to deeper watering and staying within the rules. We would also recommend mulching your gardens to retain moisture, aerating your lawns to allow the water to infiltrate the soil easier, and the use of wetting agents for both gardens and turf to help absorption. To use your irrigation system you must have a rain/ soil moisture sensor, or smart controller that does automatic adjustments based on weather. Despite what some parts of the media are reporting, automatic sprinkler systems are allowed. They only seem to report half of the story about using buckets and watering cans and don’t mention the rest of the rules. If you don’t have an irrigation system you have to use a bucket or watering can. Exemptions are available for people with medical conditions that prevent people using a bucket or watering can. This is on a case by case basis. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Plus we now do aeration. This allows water, air and nutrients to reach the roots. On my aeration jobs I'm going to donate a portion, $10 per job, towards water for our country folk. Best way I see is to donate to the ClubNSW Litres for the Land program. Hope to put in 1st donation on the 21st Dec.

15.01.2022 I've been working with Autoflow Irrigation on a footy field, installing a full system. Extra work to cut n roll turf. But minimal to zero downtime once we are done.

14.01.2022 Kikuyu was green all winter with my program. Coming even greener now.

13.01.2022 Loving the cooler weather.

10.01.2022 Remembering old jobs, client sold this place and new owner didn't want to pay the upkeep, had no idea the expense of a great lawn, wonder how it looks now. Irrigation by Autoflow Irrigation
