12.01.2022 Tahlequah is pregnant again! Don’t know who Tahlequah is? Read on. As of Aug 2019, there were only 73 Southern Resident Orcas surviving. They’ve been listed as endangered for the past 15 years, but their numbers have reached an all time low. Nearly two years ago Tahlequah, one of the few remaining Southern Resident Orcas made headlines after she carried her dead calf for 17 days and more than 1000 miles. ... And the goods news is she is pregnant again! Want to get involved? The good folk over at One Tree Planted have partnered with Promise the Pod and have been working to help restore their habitat. 07.01.2022 Hi everyone! Wanted to take a quick moment to introduce myself. I'm Katrina, lover of a good t-shirt and founder of Good Tees. I've been a lover of t-shirts for as long as I can remember. I pretty much live in them 24/7. Earlier this year I was getting frustrated with shirts I bought stretching, or falling apart within only a few months of buying them. I was on the hunt for new tees, but was also mindful of not wanting to contribute to fast fashion. I wanted to buy quality ...items, that were built to last, but also meant something to me. At the same time, my eyes were being opened up to so many problems, all across the world. I wanted to do something to help, but it felt like there were so many problems, and how could I possibly help make an impact. And then one day, I stumbled across a site selling a t-shirt and donating the profits to charity and I was instantly drawn in. I didn't love the design, but I loved the idea of what they stood for. And so good tees was born! My dream is to create a range of t-shirt designs that you'll love to wear, while also helping to create awareness and donate as much money to charity as I can.
