24.01.2022 Getting a start on Birthday cards for the year.

23.01.2022 The last of my Easter gifts were handed out today in the form of this triangular shaped gift box. I love making unusual shaped boxes. The bow on the top finishes it all off I think.

22.01.2022 Life has taken up a lot of my free time of late, so my opportunities to get into my craft room have been limited. I did manage to make this storybook style of card though for a friends upcoming birthday.

21.01.2022 My daughter made this lovely Christmas card for me yesterday. It is proudly being displayed on the shelf in our lounge room for all to see. I love it, and I am so proud of the effort she put in to make this.

21.01.2022 Some more little boxes to share with you. These were gifts for the team of girls I am coaching this year for netball. Just a little something to make them feel welcome and a peace offering from me to prepare them for the year ahead, as I am going to work them hard this year.

19.01.2022 I made this card for my sons school mate who was celebrating his 18th Birthday today.

17.01.2022 I’ve been busy creating cards and gifts for my son’s graduation. I made these mortarboard cap gift boxes for my sons friends. They each contained some chocolate truffles. The long gift box had an engraved pen with their name on it in the schools colours.

15.01.2022 I did a reverse stamping technique with the zebras to make this anniversary card. Pretty happy with how it turned out.

13.01.2022 A dear friend of mine is celebrating her birthday today. I made this card and gift box for her, and although it’s a very nice card it is not the card I had intended to give her. I could not get the original one to work properly and I couldn’t get it right it in time for her birthday. I am determined that I will not let this card defeat me and when I finally get it right, I will show you because in my opinion it was a beautiful card.

12.01.2022 My daughter made this card to send to a friend in Japan who is celebrating her birthday this month. I love it. What a cute card, and I’m sure her friend will love it too.

10.01.2022 Christmas cards for 2020 have been started, in fact this lot are all done and on their way to Western Australia as we speak. These are the yearly Christmas cards I make for my sister in laws business. I couldn’t get the sparkle and shimmer from the snow to show up in the photograph, but not to worry. The cards also have a nice subtle scent to them as I used vanilla scented embossing powder. Definitely a labour of love, I hope she and her clients like them.

08.01.2022 I have a thank you card to show you today. This one was made for the team manager from my girlies netball team.

04.01.2022 I saw a video on YouTube on how to make this card and decided to give it a go. It’s called a pop and lock gatefold card. Pretty happy with how it turned out.
