24.01.2022 Good Beer People of Brisbane, Team Brewsvegas here with a COVID-19 update. We are paying close attention to the continuing development and health advice, but wa...nted to communicate to our punters that currently, it is business as usual for Brewsvegas. Obviously, please follow the advice of local medical authorities, look after each other and yourself, stay home if youre unwell, and if any events are impacted please respect the venues need to make a decision in their staff and customers best interest. Currently, we have had two changes to the BV schedule as a result of this situation. Firstly, the Calibre Block Party will be scaled down from its current format as a street party, but will still go ahead as a showcase at Saccharomyces. More details about that will be available from next week. Additionally, the free festival hub event Malt101 with Cryer Malt has been cancelled, due to the company placing a hold on all public facing events for their staff. Beyond that we have not had any further events cancelled as a result of covid-19. We will keep you updated if this changes, as we are leaving these calls to the discretion of each individual venue. Meet early at Semi-P...ro Brewing and be taken by mini-bus to Hilltop Hops for the Harvest picking. Be part of the hop harvesting process by assisting in picking the hops that will feature in this years wet hop beer from Semi-Pro Brewing. After the harvest is complete you will then be transported back to Semi-Pro for refreshments and lunch. You will then help in the making of this years Harvest Red Ale using fresh Cascadian whole cone hops straight from the bine. The whole day event will include all travel to and from Semi-Pro Brewing as well as refreshments and food at the brewery.
