17.01.2022 We are almost there with this tattoo. The red has completely gone and the black ink is on it's way out. The blue is being a bit more stubborn. We'll only need one or two more treatments to get rid of the rest of the ink. On average, a professional tattoo will take 6-10 sessions. Some people might need less, some people might need more. 11.01.2022 Color! What a deep and mysterious language, the language of dreams. Paul Gauguin To say we are absolutely blown away by the progress of this tattoo removal would be an understatement. To start with this tattoo was very colourful and vibrant. Also, a small part of this tattoo is layered. Meaning another tattoo underneath, also meaning more layers of ink to get through.... Certain colours are more difficult to treat than others. Black/dark colours are the easiest, followed by red ink and then blue/green and then yellow. This tattoo has a mix of all of the above. I know this client is over the moon with the results so far, and is looking forward to the day we can say #goodbye to this colourful piece. 03.01.2022 To begin with, this client only wanted to modify part of their tattoo by removing the rose and stem. The rose part is almost gone after only 1 treatment. Since their last treatment, they decided they didn't want the entire tattoo anymore. We have completed treatment 1 on the entire tattoo and and treatment 2 on the rose and stem. 03.01.2022 Another satisfying and successful first treatment. Great frosting. Can't wait to see the results next time my client is in. What is frosting? 'Frosting' or whitening of the tattoo pigment is the immediate reaction caused by the laser penetrating the ink... The laser heats the ink pigment, which creates gas bubbles. This gas rises to the surface of the skin and is then released in the form of carbon dioxide. But don't be alarmed, because Frosting is a good thing! It means the laser has effectively penetrated the ink and the body has already started the healing process.
