20.01.2022 Meet the mechanic This is Mike. If you've been to our CBD store in Goldsbrough Lane you probably would have met him. In between servicing bikes, Mike answered a few questions for us: How long have you been at Good Cycles? 7 years! How many bikes do you have? 5, 1 Commuter Bike, 1 Touring Bike, 2 Mountain Bikes and a 'Pub' Bike (the bike you can lock up at the pub at night and not be worried)... How often you ride? 16.01.2022 We're sad to be here again and we hope everyone is okay after the latest announcements. Due to the latest restrictions, our Goldsbrough Lane store will be open from Monday to Wednesday, 8am-4pm for servicing and click & collect only. All other stores are closed until Thursday.

16.01.2022 Here's what we recommend people carry on the bike to get them out of trouble on the road or trail. Must have: 1. A spare tube (in the right size for your bike's tyres) 2. Tyre levers to change a flat tyre, two is usually enough. 3. A pump of Co2 cartridges and adaptor to inflate the new tube ... 4. Allen keys or lever to remove your wheels if you have 'stealth' through axles with no levers inbuilt. Good to have (especially on longer more remote rides): 1. A multi tool with allen keys and screw drivers etc. to tighten bolts and cables 1. A multi tool with allen keys and screwdrivers etc. to tighten bolts and cables nding on what 'speed' your chain is (and a multi tool with a chain breaker on it). 3. Failing all that take an Eftpos card to get a Maxi Taxi home!
