I thought cruelty was abolished years ago but doesn’t seem so with the Vic and Nsw governments and the RSPCA all approving the tortorous inhuman culling of brumbies in national parks. If you live in these areas and can sign the petition please sign it.

The falsified Vendor declarations which allows for the highly dangerous and banned drug, bute in horse meat destined for Europe to go undetected. ALL OF THIS we have known about for the last six years but nobody cares or listens. It all gets covered up because everyone is working together from the Racing Industry to the saleyards and abattoirs and the Federal Government. DONT Text i dont have mobile reception here, but i can take calls if i am near the home wifi. 0415277145 These are very nice type horses from the Toolara/Tuan forestry area near Poona. They were only removed due to their tendency to stray too close to and cross busy highways. They are still very flighty and will take some time to be gentled and get accustomed to their new life. Where possible these brumbies will be gentled to halter and leading. Maybe, picking up feet and Maybe float loading, depending on how they go. They may only be rehomed, unhandled to approved, skilled trainers by negotiation. Otherwise, as mentioned above they will be gentled to halter. This means, if they are unhandled...No they will not go on a float, they would.need to be trucked, same goes if i do not have the time to float train them. If you want to adopt a brumby, you must meet certain criteria i.e. You must be skilled at handling unhandled horses You mast have at least 5 secure acres on which to keep your brumby as well as secure yard to keep them in whilst they become accustomed to their new home. You must have at least one other horse. Brumbies/horses are herd animals.and need the company of other horses. You must be prepared to pay an adoption fee, we are not for profit and all the training, handling and feeding is done voluntarily but there are still enormous costs for us including feed, veterinary, worming, vaccination, gelding etc. Unless by prior approval (and to approved trainers only wanting a project horse) the brumbies must go to a long term, preferably forever home. The last thing we want is for the brumbies to end up going from one owner to the next because people dont form a connection or dont know how to handle them. In this mob we have a bay stallion with a white star and two white socks on the near side, a bay mare, quite probably pregnant, a bay colt with a white star. These brumbies come from the foresty not far from where Potro and Pixie (aka Theodore) come from, so are a similar style of horse, see our previous posts on these wonderful brumbies. See more
