16.01.2022 I have used some of the downtime over the holidays to sort my inbox out. I came across the app unroll.me via Sarah Thomson and it's hugely helpful in managing the overwhelm that comes from over-subscribing. If have a sort out is on the agenda for you as you approach the New Year, take a look and check out whether it might be useful to you.

15.01.2022 New Year, New Resolutions? A new year is here and maybe you’re thinking of turning over a new leaf. A new year is often synonymous with making changes but we've all been around long enough to know that New Year's resolutions do not typically end well. In fact, all too often they end up discarded within a month or two. Maybe you've promised yourself this year is going to be different and this time you’re going to stick with your resolutions. 13.01.2022 If you're like many of the women I know, you want a thriving business but not at the expense of your personal life. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that you finished 2019 absolutely exhausted but also determined not to end 2020 in the same way. There's good news and bad news. I'm going to go with my hunch that you'll take the bad news first and finish on the up.... The bad news... your good intentions are not going to be enough to get you to the finish line of 2020 feeling energised and accomplished. If nothing changes you will continue to lurch from one project to another, gathering just enough energy each time to make the big push to deliver for your clients. The end result is you constantly teeter on the brink of fatigue and ill-health. It's not sustainable. The good news - the dream of a thriving business alongside a personal life which is fun, healthy and exciting in just the right measure is possible. And most importantly, it is possible without hitting the wall first and risking ill-health, accidents or the loss of important relationships. Too often I work with clients who have sought counselling because the tipping point was reached and they received the wake up call. You can take charge before this happens to you. We need to start with small bites of the problem so we reduce the overwhelm.

11.01.2022 I shared this on the page I have for my counselling practice and thought it might be of interest to you too.
