24.01.2022 Why study with us? Ask our students! The leadership academy was the best decision I ever made. God has this beautiful way of growing and changing you when you’re bold enough to say yes, and that’s exactly what happened when I joined Academy. My relationship with God grew to a depth I didn’t realise existed and my dependency on him grew greater than ever before. The Leadership Academy provided a family culture where we could rise and fall with each other and stretched us to rely on our faith more than our fears. I’ve become a better person by joining Academy, and I’ve had more opportunities to reach my world with the skill set they equiped us with. I’d recommend it to everyone! - @linda_turley

16.01.2022 Our live online classroom is a great opportunity for churches to train key pastors and leaders from a distance, whilst doing the practical placement in their local church. Hear from Travis & Aimee who joined us live from Narrabri this year! We started Academy at the same time we became Senior Pastors in rural NSW. We attended class via the online classroom with one of our team and loved it! The course content was invaluable for us starting our new roles and answered many questions we didn’t know we had. It helped us overcome obstacles, and empowered us to be a practical answer to our towns needs during the drought. Now that it’s over we’re more confident to lead & serve, and ready for the adventure ahead of us! - Travis & Aimee

Pick one or two things you would like to grow in FROM EACH AREA, and then write down HOW you will/can work to grow it. . FAITH; Biblical knowledge confidence in prayer understanding of how faith impacts society & culture do you want to spend more time with God each day? Learn to hear Gods voice? etc.... . FAMILY/FRIENDS; Do you want to spend more time with family? Is there a relationship you’d love to mend? Are you planning to get engaged or married? Is there a way you could bless some of your family or friends? etc . FINANCE; would you like to get debt free? Save for something significant? Be more generous? Create an emergency fund? etc . FITNESS; This is all about physical and mental well-being. Do you want to make exercise normal? Eat and feel healthy? Make some progress on your mental health journey? etc . 09.01.2022 2019 expressions of interest online now Academy changed the way I saw people, leadership and life! It helped me see that God’s heart has always been and always will be for people - and we have a part to play in the story He started long ago. My year at Academy helped me grow in confidence and helped me see I can contribute and add value to every area of my life such as church ministry, work, leadership and family. Our teachers are real, raw and they’re there to see you reach your God-given potential. I loved my year completing the certificate 4 in Christian ministry and theology! As well as gaining knowledge, it was a year of ‘getting the boots dirty’ and learning how to lead, love and contribute to Gods house practically. - @david_bowerman

04.01.2022 Did you know you can study part time with us? Hear what one of our continuing students has to say about it (we included a pic of her doggo because, well, doggo!) My Leadership Academy journey is still going thanks to the flexible study options available, and has been eye opening and heart opening to say the least. From digging deep into Gods love and grace in the Old Testament and the relevance of it today, to learning how to pray, walk in step with the Holy spirit, and to... communicate the gospel well and confidently to others. It has challenged preconceived ideas I had about God and the bible, provided a non judgemental place to have all my burning questions answered, taught me how to draw near and stay near to God, connected me with awesome classmates it may have taken years to get to know otherwise, encouraged me to serve in my local church, and created a safe space for discussions about Gods view on everything imaginable. The teaching is relevant and backed by the bible, the teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and real about their own journey. It has far exceeded any expectations I had and has challenged me to grow in ways I never imagined. -Kyra Carter See more

02.01.2022 Got questions about...well, pretty much everything? How do I adult? What’s the purpose of my life? How many dogs can I have before people start to ask questions? (For the record, the answer to that last question is 3) . We hear you; we’re with you! Asking questions is actually a really great thing to do. Asking questions can be a sign of a healthy leader, a person who is teachable, or someone who is willing to grow. BUT where you search for answers matters. . If you’ve got ...questions about faith, rather than just googling it or asking people who you know don’t agree with your faith... Chat with a friend who loves Jesus and find answers together. Or find a leader, pastor, mentor who is where you want to be in faith and talk to them. . GO to where you want to GROW to for answers See more
