15.01.2022 As we commence the first term of 2021, we wish to give a great big shout out to Branded Burgers & Bar in Seville! As you may already be aware, Gina and the team at Branded so generously donated all profits received from The Real Santa promotion to 4 children's charities, inclusive of The Good Life Farm - we all received over $8000!! which will go a very long way to helping our young people and the program - a very heartfelt thank you. We would like to congratulate other rec...ipients, Backpacks 4 VIC Kids, HeartKids and better_life_for_foster_kids who we are sure are as grateful and excited as us. We would also like to thank those who contributed to this amazing project, The Pace Family, Jingle Creatixe, Technology2You, Yarra Ranges Life TV, the hard working elves and The REAL Santa Thank you so much to you all from all creatures great and small. 15.01.2022 Meet the Team.... Our lovely Julie! Julie has been part of The Good Life Farm team since 2019.... With a varied professional background, Julie brings a holistic approach to the program. She has a genuine passion for helping young people, and approaches all situations in a friendly, genuine and kind manner. Julie has a strong interest in nature, permaculture, animals and helping others. Singing and rocking out with a local band in her downtime, we are lucky enough at times to enjoy Julie’s lovely voice! 13.01.2022 Meet the Team... And this is where it all began Lesley Porter’s journey to The Good Life Farm was in her destiny. ... Lesley’s pathway took her from purchasing her property on the outskirts of Healesville, to studies in horticulture and youth work and, eventually, to establishing the program on her permaculture and animal loving farm in Chum Creek. Lesley is a practical woman, warm but firm, who simply gets on with the jobs at hand. The Good Life Farm has been running since 2005. Over this time, many young people have participated in Life and Social Skills programs whereby they experience first-hand, caring for animals, team-work, decision-making and much more! Les finds inspiration in the kids, the satisfaction of caring for animals and producing home grown produce. Les was awarded the Pride of Australia Medal for inspiration in 2012 and the Yarra Ranges Council Citizen of The Year in 2019 See more

08.01.2022 COMMUNITY - Earth Care, People Care & Fair Share It's all happening at The Good Life Farm! Our young people have been working on ways to help out, give back & support those around us.... One group of young people made picture postcards, with a script telling a short story about GLF & our animal friends - these were given to Monda Lodge residents this week At the end of last term, another group of young people gave thanks to Healesville Vet Clinic for their ongoing care, & our table is still available at the top of the driveway so people are able to take what they need as we re stock when we are able. Have a wonderful weekend & as always, thank you for your ongoing support - if you can help someone - please do - love all creatures great & small xo

As we conclude another Term at The Good Life Farm, we would like to thank everyone for their continued support. 2020 has looked somewhat different for all of us, we hope that everyone of you is doing OK. 02.01.2022 Meet the Team The Good Life Farm is super excited to let everyone know that the one, the only (Drum roll please)... TENNILLE is back! Tennille spent many years working at The Good Life Farm whilst undertaking and completing her Bachelor of Psychological Science (honors) followed by completion of a Masters of Professional Psychology. Tennille has a passion for working with children and youth and shares The Good Life Farm’s vision for improving the health and wellbeing of young people through social engagement and animal care. Her role at GLF is Senior Youth Worker one day per week alongside other commitments, inclusive of her private practice. When she is away from work, Tennille’s interests include equestrian performance and environmental care. Thank you Tennille! GLF are beyond excited that you are back on the Team
