23.01.2022 TERM 1 HAD OFFICIALLY BEGUN Lesson's are back as of today and we can't wait to get back into the water and see everyone for Term 1 A friendly reminder that all payments are due by week 3, you can organise your term payment via card in the swim school office or at reception when you come in for your lesson, or over the phone on 8241 0444.

22.01.2022 While we are all eagerly awaiting the reopening of the Goodlife Royal Park pool, we thought we would share with you all how the renovations are coming along! We just can’t wait to see the finished product It’s looking like we will also be getting back into the office within the next couple of weeks to start setting everything up for our return so we will be attempting to touch base with you all with more details very soon

21.01.2022 POOL REOPENING AND TERM UPDATE The long awaited completion of the Goodlife Royal Park pool renovations is finally here! Our pool will be reopening this coming Monday, 9th November and Term 4 will also begin on this date We are now currently in the process of ensuring the levels and the temperature of the pool are at the correct and safe standard for you to all return to.... We can’t thank you all enough for your patience and understanding during this lengthy process and the numerous delays, we completely understand that this has been a bit of an inconvenience for a lot of you. If you have spoken with us and enrolled for Term 4, you should have received communication from us via email about all term details you need to be aware of, it not, please contact us ASAP. We do have limited spots available for Term 4 now, so if you are interested in enrolling please touch base with us on 8242 0444 or via [email protected] We can’t wait to have you all back in our new and fresh pool!

20.01.2022 Pull Buoys! We love to bring them in for drills in our lessons to give some of our students more of a challenge! Here is a great video from Zoggs on how the Pull Buoy is used and what it is achieving

19.01.2022 IMPORTANT UPDATE Following today’s announcement from the South Australian Government, we will be temporarily closed and lessons are cancelled for the next two weeks. For those enrolled for Term 4, an email will be sent out to you all tomorrow morning and we will also touch base again via email within the next couple of weeks to confirm that we will be able to return and resume lessons for Term 4 as currently planned. ... We appreciate your understanding during this time and look forward to seeing you all again hopefully very soon! Stay healthy and safe

19.01.2022 Based on the latest directions from the state Government with the recent Covid-19 restrictions in place, Swimming lessons cannot continue until next Tuesday 1st December. To confirm, our Term 4 lessons are currently cancelled until this date. We will still be available at times within business hours throughout this week, so if you have any questions or need to speak with us about anything, feel free to contact us via email [email protected] or you can call 8241 0444 and we will get back to you as soon as we can! 19.01.2022 What pool is that?! it is starting to look INCREDIBLE in our pool area now We’re so close to seeing the finished product and we are seriously excited to have it done and have our lessons running again! We’re finalising our timetable and dates for Term 4 and currently are in the process of going through and contacting those that were in lessons when we had the closure due to covid-19, we have been leaving messages for those that we can and haven’t gotten a hold of. 18.01.2022 We have a quick bittersweet update for you all! Our Swim School Coordinator Nyssa will be transferring over to the Goodlife Payneham club as the Customer Service Manager from next week, we’re so excited to see her embarking on this new journey but also very sad to see her leave us at Royal Park We are however, very pleased to announce Sophie will be stepping into the Swim School Coordinator role! ... Sophie has been apart of our Swim School for the last couple of years as an instructor as well as a part of our Admin team, so you have probably seen her around the place quite a bit already! We’re very excited to have her stepping up and looking forward to having her in the role Please join us in congratulating both Nyssa and Sophie in their new roles within Goodlife!

18.01.2022 We will be out of office from Christmas Day until Monday 4th January. The club is still open can still be contacted via 8241 0444 during this time and we will attend to any queries upon return, if urgent we will be notified and attend to at the earliest convenience. Emails sent to us in this time also will be attended to upon return ... Tomorrow will be the last chance to book in for our two week program, so get in quick If you are already booked in, please keep an eye out for your confirmation email tomorrow We’re looking forward to seeing everyone in 2021!

18.01.2022 We hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and a very Happy New Years! Term 1 will begin as of Wednesday 27th January, and we can’t wait! Over the next couple of weeks we will be touching base with those that were booking into Term 4 and didn’t get to chat with before the end of Term to confirm your return for Term 1, however feel free to contact us first to confirm this via [email protected] or 8241 0444

17.01.2022 Term 4 lessons are still set to resume as of this coming Tuesday 1st December! We hope you have all been keeping safe and well and we can’t thank you all enough for your patience and support over the last couple of weeks, we cannot wait to be able to have you back in Bookings for our Xmas 4-Day Intensive Program are still open and will be open until close of business next Friday 4th December. We will also have more information for you all about a 2-week program we will... be holding in January on Monday, bookings for this will also open on this day! 17.01.2022 We are so excited to have our pool reopen and lessons now up and running for Term 4, it’s great to be back and to have you all back in! Because we’ve had such little opportunity this year to hold lessons, we decided that we aren’t too interested in having you all away for too many weeks during the school holiday. We will be running a 4 day intensive program in the first week of the school holidays, bookings are now open and there are limited spots available so if you ...are interested make sure to get in quick! 15.01.2022 Our Colouring In competition wall is looking great! We haven’t got anymore colouring in sheets available but we’re keeping the competition open until this Saturday for anymore entries to be brought in Winner for each category will be announced next Wednesday 4th March!

14.01.2022 POOL ROPENED Great News! Our pool is now back up and running as normal and classes are good to go ahead as scheduled ... We appreciate your cooperation and understanding and are looking forward to seeing everyone for lessons this week

12.01.2022 IMPORTANT COVID-19 UPDATE To address the concern and questions on everyone’s mind currently, we’re here to update you! Swimming lessons are to remain running as per usual until further notice, the pool itself should not spread the virus between humans as the chemicals within the water should kill any form of the virus immediately. We do however ask that if you are feeling unwell at all that you do not come in to your lesson, please call prior to your lesson to advise us i...f so. We are also implementing extra cleaning within the club, as well as ourselves taking the time every half hour to spray and wipe high traffic contact areas such as door handles and seats etc. we also have hand sanitiser in the swim school office and positioned in areas within the club. If you have any concerns or further questions in regards to this, please feel free to contact us at any time on 8241 0444 and we will be happy to help you out! We look forward to seeing you at your next lesson

11.01.2022 Dear Swim School families! We are excited to let you know that we are now able to use boards and noodles again. You are welcome to continue bringing your own kickboards and noodles if you would like, but we will now have them available for use again! ... Thank you for your patience and understanding with the equipment availability.

11.01.2022 LESSONS ARE CANCELLED To keep you all updated after the latest announcement from our PM yesterday. As we are located within a gym and classified as an indoor sporting venue, our lessons have been cancelled and the swim school has been closed until further notice along with the gym and club.... All direct debit accounts have been paused indefinitely and we will be applying credits to any paid in full student upon our return. We hope that we will be able to return to business as usual in the not too distant future and will be in contact with all as soon as we are notified that we are able to open up again. In the meantime the Royal Park Swim School Team would like to wish everybody a safe and healthy break and we can’t wait to see everyone again when we reopen.

10.01.2022 POOL TEMPORARILY CLOSED Unfortunately we have had some unforeseen circumstances resulting in requiring us to close the pool at the club. At this point the pool will be closed all this morning Monday 22nd March.... We currently do not have a specific time frame of when the pool will be reopened, but we endeavour to have it reopened for lessons again by this afternoon and will keep you all updated. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation, we will post another update as soon as we know more.

07.01.2022 IT’S GETTING CLOSE The view to the pool has been closed off now for the big reveal when it’s completed! As you can see, we unfortunately won’t be able to start the term aligning with the usual term dates, which would be next week. The pool is still on track to reopen later this month and we will most definitely be back for term 4, it will be a bit of a shorter term but we are getting back in there as soon as we can! We will be sending out a bit of an update tomorrow... about the reopening term to those who have already enrolled for when we reopen. 06.01.2022 REOPENING UPDATE TO COME SOON Firstly we would like to thank you all so very very much for your patience and understanding during these times, it is very much appreciated! If you are not already aware, we are currently renovating our pool deck, which we couldn’t be more excited about! Our head office had sent out communication to all our students to advise of this, but it has recently come to our attention that all may not have received this and we do sincerely apologis...e for this. We are currently in the process of finalising completion of the renovations and when we may be able to reopen, and at this stage are hoping for a Term 4 return with any credits that were applied from closure to be honoured. We want to provide you all with as much confirmed and specific information that we possibly can to avoid any confusion. We appreciate your patience while we continue to finalise all details and will provide everyone with a reopening update hopefully very soon!

We will be running a 4-Day Intensive program in these school holidays from Tuesday 13th - Friday 16th April $40 per student, 30 minute lessons will run between 3:30 - 5:30pm!... 04.01.2022 TERM 4 LESSONS ARE BACK IN ACTION AS OF TODAY Bookings for our 4 Day Intensive program are open until 5:30pm this Friday and limited spots are available, so get in quick!
