19.01.2022 How to help a person who is experiencing grief and loss Many people do not know what to say or do when trying to comfort someone who is grieving. However, often it is the simple offer of love and support that is the most important. * Ask how they're feeling. Each day can be different for someone who is grieving; take the time to listen and understand what they are going through. * Talk about everyday life too. Their loss and grief does not have to be the focus of all your... conversations. * Ask them how you can help. A few home cooked meals, doing the shopping, or perhaps offering to go walking or do something enjoyable with them can all help someone through their grief. 14.01.2022 Received a call from a member of the public yesterday advising me that there were kids in the cemetery stealing flowers from graves and placing them on other graves. When I arrived there were 6 young girls (around 10 or 11 years old) who swore black & blue it wasn’t them. If anyone sees this happening, or anything suspicious, please call the police and let them deal with this disrespectful behaviour.

02.01.2022 Agnes Nielsen is the first recorded name in the Burial Register. Thanks to Adam for finding the pieces and special thanks to Jason Haag & his boys for generously donating their time to restore and place the monument back in its original location. Agnes was 3years 4months at the time of her burial on May 17th (year unknown but prior to 1873)
