They learnt about a message of good news for the world, and they teamed up to write this little book to spread that message a little bit further. Life can get dark sometimes in many different ways, but these guys believe a light for that darkness is offered to us through this message. In this 140 page book, Brad and Jo explore the Christian beliefs written down in a letter penned long ago - Christian beliefs that... were titled ‘Gospel’ or ‘Good News’. The letter has been preserved in the book 'The Bible', under the name 'The Letter of Paul To The Romans' - The Romans being Christian believers who lived in Rome. The Good News message is one that goes back a long time ago, but is one that Brad and Jo believe to be just as relevant for someone who reads about it today. 02.01.2022 What is your experience of Good News? What is your experience of Jesus, or religion? There's a hundred different versions of good news. There's even more different religions that claim to follow Jesus. It can all get pretty confusing, whether you're looking from the outside in, or you're on the inside searching for more.... You may feel like you've heard the good news, and yet still don't experience any joy or peace. You may have experienced religion your whole life, and yet never have come to know, deep down personally know, Jesus. Because religion can be damaging. It can be controlling. It can be a place of deep hypocrisy. But Jesus can't be. The truly Good News for humanity calls us not ultimately to religion, but to Jesus. To stand by his side, and walk with him, through thick and thin. It doesn't call us to rituals and services, but to faithful obedience and sacrifice. It calls us to allegiance to a good King.
