14.01.2022 Lamb kebabs Never used rosemary twigs for my kebabs before but definitely works well! No need to soak sticks to prevent burning as well as giving that extra flavour. Just chop your red onion in quarters, dice up big chunks of red capsicum, cut your button mushrooms in halves and dice your lamb leg meat in chunks. Mix all together, drizzle olive oil, lemon juice, fresh rosemary, oregano, garlic, salt and pepper. Marinade for a few hours then thread on your rosemary twigs. So tender and so much more flavour!

It’s a shame how complicated things have become with healthy foods lately...... instead of worrying about the potatoes you put on top or the grated cheese you sprinkle it with, worry more about the ingredients you use to create this dish! Instead of adding flavour with a packet mix or gravy. Go back to the basics and flavour your dish with home made chutney, worsteshire sauce, tamari, tomato paste, garlic, mixed herbs and good quality stock and not to mention good quality meats and an array of mixed vegies. This is what home cooking is about and where the true health lies and beautiful food is created
