21.01.2022 Nothing in life is to be feared. It is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less. Marie Curie. There is so much uncertainty in the world at the moment which has created significant fear. Make sure you continue to look after yourself by eating whole nutritious foods and exercise daily.

12.01.2022 Hi everyone. Just a quick update to let you know I am open and seeing clients during this COVID-19 outbreak. I am practising within the offices some days but I am mainly now conducting phone and video consultations online (you can wear your PJs) to ensure you do not have to leave your house as per Government recommendations. None of us want to stay in isolation for longer than we need to so staying home is the best way to achieve this and phone and video consults are fantasti...c ways to communicate, even with friends and family. I am using 'Coviu' as my online video consult provider which is a secure healthcare based online software and recommended for medical online appointments. If you are seeing me face-to-face, rest assured we are taking all measures to decrease contact and the spread of the virus. Hand sanitiser will be provided at all consults and surfaces, pens and EFTPOS machines are constantly wiped down after each use. We are sitting further away from clients and ensuring no one with symptoms attends face to face dietitian appointments. Please contact me on 0417 620 382 or [email protected] if you have any questions about your upcoming appointments. Stay safe and keep positive. Kimberley

12.01.2022 I have been talking about this all week with my clients. As soon as we are restricted or deprived (toilet paper or food), we feel so scared and vulnerable (fear of missing out) and have to buy it all (toilet paper or food)! It's so important not to restrict food because if you do you want it more!

10.01.2022 This article has a very important view of Corona virus. It’s important not to panic but being vigilant with self hygiene is vital. https://www.google.com//this-is-about-hospitals-coping-wit

06.01.2022 It is important to continue to eat well but don't pressure yourself to eat 'perfectly' during this chaotic time. There are plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables available so try to include these at most of your meals and snacks. Using frozen or canned foods is an option if you can't buy fresh. Keep calm and stay well, take a deep breath everyone.

06.01.2022 We often don't realise how much sugar actually is in drinks. You might think fruit juice is a healthier alternative to other drinks particularly as many fruit juices now state 'no added sugar' to make them sound like they are low sugar. However, if you have ever squeezed an orange, you know you get less than half a cup of juice per orange so you need a large amount of fruit for juice so the quantity of sugar adds up quickly. If you are thirsty, try drinking a glass of water and eating a piece of fruit first.
