11.01.2022 To all our mothers in our community We hope you have a wonderful weekend where you feel very loved and appreciated. On this Mother's Day, we recognise there are additional demands being asked of our parents and carers, especially mums, who are supporting their children learning at home during this challenging time. We thank and wish all of our mums, grandmothers and mother figures a very happy and peaceful Mother's Day. ... "The gaze of the Mother, and the gaze of every mother. A world that looks to the future without a mothers gaze is short-sighted. It may well increase its profits, but it will no longer see others as children. It will make money, but not for everyone. We will all dwell in the same house, but not as brothers and sisters. The human family is built upon mothers. A world in which maternal tenderness is dismissed as mere sentiment may be rich materially, but poor where the future is concerned." - Pope Francis See more

07.01.2022 Dear Community Members... Welcome to Week 2 Term 2, Today we celebrate Good Shepherd Sunday!... If things were back to the way they always use to be, we would be celebrating our Good Shepherd Feast Day this Friday with a wonderful Community mass and a day of fun for the students. Instead we are humbly reminded during this feast day that Jesus is the loving protector and caretaker for His flock. Jesus has come into our lives to care for us and lead us closer to God by the story of his life which is told to us in the Gospel stories. These stories proclaim his love, healing and compassion. This feast day we pray that the students of our school are guided and protected by the Good Shepherd every day of their lives. We would like to sincerely congratulate our students and their family members who have worked very hard this week completing the remote learning program. We are very pleased to report that 95% of students at our school have completed the remote learning work. Well done to our students, parents, family members and teachers who have worked together to ensure a smooth Week 1 Term 2.
