25.01.2022 Another fun filled morning!

25.01.2022 Todays Wednesday Wondering from Mardi: "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:31 God promises to give us many things including hope, strength, unconditional love, peace, grace and that he is always with us. What promises of God have you seen in your life this week? Please share your answers below! Blessings, Rachel (Admin)

24.01.2022 Were starting a new weekly post called Wednesday Wonderings! Each week Mardi will post a question for you to ponder. Feel free to share your answers in the comments! "God gives us blessings every day. It is important we reflect on them and are grateful. Complete this sentence: This week I am grateful for" #goodshepherdparavista #gspv #wednesdaywonderingsgspv

24.01.2022 Lots to love about Little Lambs Playgroup!

23.01.2022 "But it is the Spirit in a person, the inspiration of the Almighty, that gives them understanding" (Job 32:8). Happy Wednesday, GSPV Family! Heres Mardis "Wednesday Wonderings" question to get you thinking: "I was inspired this week when..." Please feel free to share below! 21.01.2022 Cleaning Day 13th April! How about a great opportunity for community bonding during the school holidays?! If you have some time to share on Tuesday, 13th April, Good Shepherd would love some good old-fashioned community togetherness as we’re going to do an autumn clean of the Good Shepherd facilities. Beginning at 8:00 am, the sanctuary chairs need to be shifted so that the carpet cleaners can do their thing. Then, throughout the day, you and the family could have a great tim...e cleaning chairs, dusting, cleaning the walls, boxing up some items in the ‘Hut’ for transport to the church, and many, many more! Bring the kids, come and go as you’d like, but we should be done by 4pm. We’ll grab some pizza for those who are able to stay for a good chunk of the day. Have some café coffee, too! Thanks in advance and we look forward to some time together See more

20.01.2022 Hi there GSPV Fam, what a gorgeous start were having to Spring! Heres our Wednesday Wondering for the week, from Mardi :) Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. What do you appreciate from all that God has created? Blessings, Rachel (Admin) #goodshepherdparavista #gspv #wednesdaywonderingsgspv

20.01.2022 Dear Church Family, Trusting someone can be risky. You rely on them to come through for you. It takes faith. Jesus had an interesting conversation with a woman one day and she was rewarded for her faith... Even when it got down to the crumbs... Check out the GFH resources coming in tomorrows Weekly News. God bless you and your week!... Georgie #GSPV #goodshepherdparavista #growingfaithathome See more

20.01.2022 A great interview with a fantastic young man of faith. The importance of welcome and care cannot be overstated.

20.01.2022 Dear Church Family, Right now there is plenty of choppy water around us! Remaining calm is a challenge, especially if we are relying on our own strength to hold things together. It is a comfort to remember that we have Jesus to grasp hold of our hand through whatever we face. This weeks GFH resource is a well-timed reminder of this. Here is a taster: Peter stepped out of the boat to walk on water, but soon became scared because of the wind and the waves. What are some wind...s or waves in your life at the moment? God comfort and strengthen you through this week! Blessings, Georgie #GSPV #goodshepherdparavista #growingfaithathome See more

19.01.2022 We had a lot of fun this morning!

19.01.2022 Happy Easter everyone!

18.01.2022 Have you ever used the phrase, "I dont buy that?" When we say that, we recognise that we have thought fully about something before believing it (or not believing it). Throughout our lives, we are bombarded with opportunities to believe messages sold to us by various cultures and its embedded media, but how do we sift through these? And, in turn, what is it that we monger. Before our Sunday discussion, have a read through http://ireid.blogspot.com/2020/09/monger.html

18.01.2022 Dear Church Family, As mentioned last week, our Family Christmas Service planned for 4pm November 29th has been postponed. We had hoped to give out Advent / Christmas activity bags at that celebration. Now for some good news The bags are packed and we would like to make these bags available next week. Here are some options for you to collect them: Tuesday Dec 1st, 3:30pm to 4:00pm drive through pick up at the entrance of the Church Office. Tuesday to Friday pick u...p from the Church Office during regular hours (9am 3pm). Sunday 6th December If we are still doing a Zoom service on Dec 6th, a drive through pick up will be available from the front entrance of the church between 11:30am and 12 noon. If onsite services have resumed, they will be available at normal services. If you would like to contact me via email on [email protected] we can organize for a pack to get to you. As for the Family Christmas Service, we hope to announce the new details next week. God’s peace be with you all, Georgie

18.01.2022 Dear Church Family, Something that drew people to Jesus was his compassion. He did this in many ways, including sharing a meal with others. Who do you think you might catch up with this week? A phone call? A coffee? A meal? Taking this in another direction... Which person from the bible would you invite for dinner? What questions would you ask? Share them in the comments. Growing Faith at Home resource coming in the Weekly News! God bless your week!... 18.01.2022 Our "Wednesday Wondering" is coming to you on a Friday this week, courtesy of my (Rachels) cranky sinuses! Apologies for the late post :) This week Mardi shares: "Psalm 33:4 For the word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all He does. We are blessed to have the Word of God to read. Share with us below what you favourite scripture is and why it is important to you." I look forward to your answers! :) Rachel (Admin) #goodshepherdparavista #gspv #wednesdaywonderingsgspv

16.01.2022 Dear Church Family, It can be a little daunting sometimes to share with others. Especially when it comes down to what we believe, because it reveals something deep about ourselves. Our core, our foundation. This week the GFH resource offers some great discussion points to consider. What would your response be if Jesus asked you, Who do you say that I am? You might like to share your answer in the comments! God bless you, your family and your week.... Georgie #GSPV #goodshepherdparavista #growingfaithathome See more

05.01.2022 Jesus parable of the Sower and the seed gets you thinking. To be honest, there are times in my life where I have identified with all 4 categories! Knowing that Gods Word is important is one thing, but allowing time and space for it to take root, nourish and sustain me so that it can flourish can be another. I reap many benefits when I invest in his word. Imagine a world where we all bloom where we are planted! What would the landscape look like? Look out for the Growing Faith at Home resources coming in tomorrows Weekly News. There will also be a child friendly clip on this weeks parable. Why not follow up with a chat about its meaning with your family? God bless you and your week! Georgie #GSPV #goodshepherdparavista #growingfaithathome

04.01.2022 Dear Church Family, Life presents many challenges. (Tell me something that I dont know I hear you ask!) When someone does something that offends or hurts us, our relationship is damaged.
