25.01.2022 Dear Brothers and Sisters, Thank you for your continued charity as a community towards people seeking protection, refugees, and migrants in vulnerable situations who have been left behind during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result of COVID - 19 pandemic demand for the food bank service has grown steadily. Bread-winner parents in families suddenly lost their jobs and realised they could not claim JobSeeker or JobKeeper payments. House of Welcome has become many of the familie...s' lifeline, and this Lent we invite you to boost your support. For the 5 Weeks of Lent we will focus on 5 items. These items are essentials as many families are living hand to mouth. At the exit of the church & Hall please collect a leaflet to see which items we are collecting for the House of Welcome. There will be collection boxes under the back tables of the church for donation drop-offs.
