As much as this was fun, we did this to farewell our wonderful Miss Anne as she takes on a new role in another profession. We also discussed road safety on our journey to promote National road safety week 2020. #goodstartearlylearning #pillowpark #adventures #roadsafetyweek #reconnectingwithnature

15.01.2022 This year National Child Protection week will celebrate it's 30th year with the theme: Puttting children first.Under this years theme of Putting children first we invite all Australians to look at how they can prioritise children in their lives and communities and to engage in National Child Protection Week as individuals, and as part of families, organisations, communities and society.

15.01.2022 The Kindergarten children have been learning about the life cycle of sunflowers. They have represented their learning through artistic expression. Vincent Van Gogh was a favourite inspiration for some of the children. STEAM learning. A is for art.

13.01.2022 Next Wednesday 2 September is Early Childhood Educators' Day! This year it coincides with the start of spring and we thought what better way to celebrate than ...to say it with flowers! We are calling on our families to help fill our centres with greenery on this important day! It doesnt matter whether you bring a plant from a shop, something from your garden or even a sneaky snip from the side of the road it will surely put a smile on the faces of our well-deserving teams! 11.01.2022 The more risks you allow children to take, the better they learn to take care of themselves. The Senior toddler children are learning about risk taking, balance and recognising their own capabilities as they reach for the sky. #risktaking#reachforthestars#imabutterfly#sandpitjumping

Not only is this a great visual for the children to see as they arrive of a morning but parents can also draw inspiration for dinner ideas from the delicious meals, Chef Christine, is preparing in our centre kitchen.

04.01.2022 'Look a shadow.' Recently the children in the Kindy 2 room have become curious by shadows. As an extension of this, they engaged in an experience where they were able to create a silhouette of their self portrait. From this, the children discovered that for a shadow to be casted, there must be a light source. This can include the sun, a projector, lamps, flashlights and more. #shadowdiscoveries#selfportraits
