22.01.2022 This is an image weve come across that simply explains the latest advice from the Prime Minister around Australias response to COVID-19. We just wanted to reassure you that our centre is open and we will continue to provide an essential service to our children and families. Goodstart is well prepared and has been planning around COVID-19 since early January.... Our teams are highly trained in dealing with infectious diseases and we have Public Health approved infection control processes. We use hospital-grade cleaning products and have rigorous hygiene practices and protocols in place. It is important to remember that maintaining your childs daily routines and positive relationships can be beneficial during uncertain and stressful times such as these. Our priorities are ensuring the ongoing safety, health and wellbeing of everyone in our Goodstart family and continuing to provide the highest standard of early learning and care in our 665 centres across Australia for the families that rely on us each day.

21.01.2022 Dear families It has been announced today that a 6 day lockdown will take place for all of South Australia. Childcare services will remain open for essential workers and only if all the adults in your home are essential workers and required to work. ... Please contact the centre if you are required to work as an essential worker and we can make a plan moving forward. If you can we encourage all families to remain at home and isolate until at least Wednesday the 25th of November. We will aim to keep you informed as new information is released. Keep safe and remember to use safe hygiene practices.

As you know the Government announced today that the 'free childcare' package will expire on 12 July and that the CCS system will return f...rom 13 July, along with new transition measures (up until October) to support the sector and parents as they move back to the subsidy. This announcement is a little bit complex so we are working hard to understand what this means for our families and for Goodstart. 10.01.2022 The Government has announced a new Child Care Package where families can access free child care up until the end of June 2020. Goodstart Early Learning Cowandilla is open and here for you! We are open from 6:30am til 6:30pm Monday to Friday and provide all meals as well as wipes, nappies and sunscreen for the children.... 10.01.2022 National Pyjama Day is an annual event that aims to raise awareness and funds for The Pyjama Foundation's Love of Learning Program, which empowers children in care to reach their full potential. It We raised $276.80 and we want to thank our families for your generosity. It was wonderful to see our children and educators all take part in this event.
