22.01.2022 Dear Families and our Community, We will be holding a Bunnings BBQ Fundraiser at the Epping Bunnings on Cooper Street this Saturday 16th of November. We will be there all day from 9am to 4pm. Please come along to grab a sausage and a drink. Sausages will be sold for $2.50 and a drink for $1.50. The fundraising we receive from the bbq is going towards our Christmas party and graduation for the children. We hope to see you there! Have a great night

18.01.2022 We have created a ‘Spoonville Community’ at the entrance of our centre. Last week we were contacted by the Marketing Manager of Pacific Epping Plaza if we would like to participate in creating one. The children have made some great characters and decorated their wooden spoons/forks with arts and craft materials using lots of different colours. The families have loved seeing their children’s creations on display within the community We welcome families to participate in adding their own characters and spoon creations to our Sooonville Community

05.01.2022 A WorkSafe led taskforce is continuing to remove waste chemicals from warehouses in Melbournes northern suburbs. This includes eight sites in Epping and Campbe...llfield uncovered in December 2018 and an additional four sites discovered in Craigieburn and Campbellfield in March. The waste chemicals include flammable liquids such as paints, inks and solvents. The exact quantity of chemicals contained in the warehouses is unknown, however the maximum total storage capacity of the 12 sites is up to 30 million litres. There are four sites at Epping. Two of four have now been completely cleared and removal work is underway at a third. Preparations to remove the chemicals from the fourth site are also underway. The small court where three of the sites are located remains closed to vehicles and pedestrians. This does not disrupt through-traffic in the area. The taskforce includes representatives from Environment Protection Authority (EPA), emergency services, and Hume and Whittlesea Councils.
