14.01.2022 Some Friday Fun with Senior Toddlers Miss Kerry had frozen fresh flowers in the muffin trays. The children used magnifying glasses to observe the flower inside the ice and discover the coldness of the ice by manipulating it. They were also able to observe the ice melt and play in the water left behind on the trays. We put out some cardboard boxes. When one of the boxes broke, Miss Jon got some tape to repair it. The children showed their interest by coming to assist with ...repairing the box. 07.01.2022 Wednesday 7-4-21 Pre-Kindy Educators asked what the children would like to do today, some suggested to make playdough. Kindy was kind enough to let us borrow some bubblegum scent and blue food colouring to make our playdough. After pouring the oil in the bowl over the flour, the children were amazed that it sat on top. Moving the bowl around they noticed that it still did not mix together but just sat on top.
