21.01.2022 Transitions When children are ready to move up to the next age room, they have a number of transition visits before the official move up. This is to allow them to explore their new environments, spend some time with the new educators and friends so its all familiar when the time comes. The children enjoy being able to have these transition visits with their new friends.

It allowed Mr J to practice speaking in front of a group, use his language skills to explain his favourite parts of the book and allowed his audience to practice their listening skills. To show the appreciation to Centre Directors, Assistant Directors, Educators and Support staff for all their hard work and commitment during the Covid period, each day last week a new Thank you was announced. One of them was a much deserved day off to all staff who worked through those trying times. Just another way that Goodstart gives back!

15.01.2022 Stormy Surprise Last week the storm blew lots of leaves into the yard. Some of the leaves were collected and investigated by some of our Nursery 2 children. The children enjoyed scrunching the leaves and feeling their crunchy texture, listening to the sounds that it was making and looking at the different colours of the leaves.

14.01.2022 Developmental Milestones Its exciting to see our children reach those development milestones as they grow. Children learn in all kinds of ways, one of which is by watching their peers. Here baby A was exploring our outdoor environment with some older children and stood up all by herself. When master W returned to care Miss A was so excited when she realised her bestie was back at the centre. They quickly began engaging in racing the bikes enjoying each others company.
