23.01.2022 Our senior children used the wet weather today as an opportunity to participate in a variety of physically active group games including (musical chairs, freeze and hokey pokey) these games were chosen as they enable the children to scaffold further on their cognitive abilities (problem solve, critically think and plan response) while increasing and investing in their physical abilities. #socialconnectivity

As you know the Government announced today that the 'free childcare' package will expire on 12 July and that the CCS system will return f...rom 13 July, along with new transition measures (up until October) to support the sector and parents as they move back to the subsidy. This announcement is a little bit complex so we are working hard to understand what this means for our families and for Goodstart. 12.01.2022 Upper and lower case letters and an alphabet chart took our kindy children on a learning journey of literary excellence today. The alphabet chart was used to teach the children to point to each letter as they sung the alphabet encouraging exploration of sounds and language. Playdough was manipulated and rolled to create the letters of childrens names promoting their sence of identity through meaningful learning experiences. #confidentinvolvedlearners #ourfutureleaders

We would like to pay our respects to our elders past, present and emerging. National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children's Day is held on 4th of August as an opportunity for the whole community to celebrate our children with mobs from all over the Country being involved in events focused on kids, culture, family and Community. ...Goodstart Bongaree childen and educators participated in experiences reflecting the traditional ways of being and doing to promote our cultural history while building childrens awareness and acceptance of diversity in their world. #qualitylearning #culturaldiversity
