04.01.2022 Lest we forget Today in the centre, children celebrated Anzac Day. At the group time children discussed that it is an important day for all Australians and New Zealanders to remember and commemorate those who gave their lives in battle. We produced red poppy flowers while practicing our scissor skills and threading on green pipe cleaners.... We engaged in cooking science while making Anzac biscuits . We followed a recipe to measure and count ingredients, mixed them and observed how they changed their state of matter during baking process in the oven. We enjoyed them during our afternoon tea. Yummy
