25.01.2022 Always was, Always will be is this years NAIDOC theme for 2020! The theme recognises that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years. Today we are proud to wear our new NAIDOC shirts to reflect this years theme.

24.01.2022 Next Wednesday 2 September is Early Childhood Educators Day! This year it coincides with the start of spring and we thought what better way to celebrate than ...to say it with flowers! We are calling on our families to help fill our centres with greenery on this important day! It doesnt matter whether you bring a plant from a shop, something from your garden or even a sneaky snip from the side of the road it will surely put a smile on the faces of our well-deserving teams! 15.01.2022 What a great way to celebrate Indigenous language day by sending off our first pen pal letter to the Yirrkala Preschool in the NT and donating them some books. As well as donating to Indigenous Literacy Foundation a great cause in enabling Indigenous people to write and create books and get books out to community homelands. We were also able to celebrate by watching the celebrations on YouTube! Taking Steps to Reconciliation.

04.01.2022 Every year Goodstart hold The Goodies awards! This year we were extremely excited to become a QLD State Finalist for the Reconciliation award! Whilst we didn’t take out the win and were runners up we are so proud of the journey we are on!

Aunty Heather and Linda took the time to answer some questions we had around Reconciliation and provided us with some ideas to move forward with our Journey! We thank them both for their time this afternoon and look forward with working with them both!

03.01.2022 Big ted came on our outing today while Jemima is on Vacation. The 3rd - 7th of August is National Dental week and we have been exploring dental hygiene in each of the rooms. Due to Covid we were not able have a visit from our local dentist but thanks to Curae Dental Boronia heights they donated a dental pack to each of our Kindergarten children. Thanks Curae Dental

03.01.2022 This Friday we are celebrating National Tree Day, today we picked up a wonderful donation of 16 Native plants and soil from Bunnings Browns Plains. Thanks Sally and your team for your generous donation. We look forward too adding the plants into our garden.

02.01.2022 Jeans for genes day was celebrated at the Centre today! A big thanks to our families and educators for bringing in there gold coin donations to support families and children with birth defects or incurable genetic diseases

02.01.2022 As we continue exploring Dental Hygiene Big Ted came along to visit Park ridge dental who also donated a large number of packs for our children so we were lucky enough to send some extra packs to our childrens siblings.
