25.01.2022 Today at Redgum Drive we completed our Day for Daniel walk. The aims of the Foundation are to educate children and young people about how to stay safe in physical and online environments and to support young victims of crime. Child safety is very important to us and we walk in support of the foundation and to ensure we share this important message with our children.

23.01.2022 Woodwork is a wonderful medium for expressive art and creative design and it also has the benefit of encompassing many other areas of learning and development, providing a truly cross-curricular activity. It helps to develop mathematical thinking, to gain scientific knowledge and children become engineers as they construct. We explored wood craft materials and expressed our imagination in a variety of creative ways by producing work that we personally found interesting. Here is our kindergarten engineers in action...

20.01.2022 The Pre Kindy and Toddler children took advantage of the beautiful weather today. Relaxing in the serenity under our shady tree

20.01.2022 Just a reminder to our Redgum families that tomorrow you will need to wear a mask when dropping of your child/ren. We will be doing foyer drop offs and staff will be available all day to assist with this.

19.01.2022 Our toddler space is where children are encouraged to develop on their self-identity, able to transfer and adapt what they have learned from one context to another.

15.01.2022 Maths is like ice cream, with more flavours than you can imagine-and if all your children ever do is textbook maths, that’s like feeding them broccoli-flavoured ice cream (Denise Gaskins-Let’s play maths). Our Kindergarten class was provided with a provocation...a simple question....How many shells are in the jar? From there developed collaborative and parallel investigations into shape, measurement, classification and patterns. Our approach to learning numeracy is a rainbow assortment of delightful learning, ice cream for the brain.

15.01.2022 Exploring sense of smell with fresh herbs from the garden Through this absorbing exploratory session, children are experimenting and developing their skills by connecting with the nature.

13.01.2022 We hope all our Redgum families are enjoying the long weekend

13.01.2022 Just a reminder that we are closed tomorrow and will be back to business as usual on Tuesday.
