24.01.2022 Learning through play dough Our Junior Kindy children are learning the different letters of the alphabet. Today's activity was to make letters of the alphabet by rolling and shaping the play dough to match the picture cards. The children were so pleased with their efforts when the play dough took shape to look like the first letter of their name.... Play dough develops fine motor skills. The acts of squishing, rolling, flattening, and more help your children develop muscles used in their hands for fine motor movements useful in the future, such as holding a pencil or using scissors.

12.01.2022 Show me your muscles!! The 3 year old kindy children were having fun playing with the loose parts this morning. Loose parts give children the freedom to arrange and rearrange, essentially using the parts to create their own rules and designs, which allows the focus of the experience to be on the process rather than the product. Fine motor skills are developed and strengthened when children grasp and pick up small objects.

12.01.2022 Today Wednesday 2nd September 2020 is Early Childhood Educators' Day. It is a day that recognises and celebrates the work of Australia's educators in early learning services for their wonderful contribution to the well being and healthy development of the young children in their care. It's a chance to say thank you to Australias early childhood educators on a very personal level by service operators, families and their children, as well as collectively at the national level. 07.01.2022 Introducing Pragga! Pragga is our newest educator for Goodstart Campbell Rd. Hi I am Pragga. I am from Bangladesh which is a beautiful country. I came to Australia with my husband and have been living here for the past 7 years. I have been working with children for almost 5 years.... I currently hold my Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Childrens Services. I have started working in the Toddler 1 room and I am absolutely loving it! I decided to study for my qualifications as I feel this is where I am meant to be! I enjoy watching the children learn as they play and develop into beautiful, confident beings. Its extremely rewarding! The relationships that I have started building with my beautiful colleagues and children have meant so much to me and will be everlasting! I love my family. I have a small family including Me, my loving husband, a beautiful daughter Aapti 6 and a handsome son Aadrik 1. I love my kids more than anything, they are my world! I love to watch movies and TV series and am a binge watcher, also love making fun memories. I love to meet new people and laugh.

I hold a certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education, and over the past year I have been working as a casual educator.... I believe that each child is unique and that they learn and develop in their own ways. It is such an honor for me to watch them grow and develop with me being able to support and encourage them. I am very excited to start my new journey here at Goodstart Campbell Rd and i look forward to meeting you all and getting to know and care for your children.
