24.01.2022 We are very excited that we are expanding our team of educators at Goodstart Capalaba - Almara Street. We are looking for amazing educators who are wanting to join a team of passionate, fun, inclusive and dedicated professionals. Due to centre growth we have multiple positions for both permanent full-time Certificate III Qualified and Diploma Qualified educators. Suitable candidates must be available for shifts from 6:30am - 6:00pm Monday to Friday. If you believe you are the perfect fit for our centre and have a passion for early education please email your resume and cover letter to [email protected].

22.01.2022 We would love to say a big welcome to our Assistant Director Jayde. Jayde has been settling in to our centre well and loved getting to know all of our children and families. If you haven't met Miss Jayde yet, please say hello :)

17.01.2022 This afternoon we took an opportunity to enjoy a story with Miss Ganga after some delicious Afternoon Tea. Learning Outcome : 3.2 Children take increasing responsibility for their own health and physical wellbeing. This is evident when children recognise and communicate their bodily needs e.g. example : rest. Educators can promote this learning by providing a range of active and restful experiences throughout the day and supporting children to make appropriate decisions regarding participation.

15.01.2022 ‘Every child is an artist.’ Picasso During our afternoon outdoor learning time the children filled our paths with beautiful chalk drawings. This experience generated discussion around our favourite colours, rainbows and exploration into shapes.

11.01.2022 Hi Goodstart families! As you know the Government announced today that the 'free childcare' package will expire on 12 July and that the CCS system will return f...rom 13 July, along with new transition measures (up until October) to support the sector and parents as they move back to the subsidy. This announcement is a little bit complex so we are working hard to understand what this means for our families and for Goodstart. We will provide an update to our centres and our families later today and over the coming days as we learn more. #5weekstogo! See more

10.01.2022 Our Pre-Kindergarten children have been discovering flags. We explored the meanings behind them and the different colours used, we used our hands, feet, thumbs and fingers to create them. EYLF Outcome 1.3.6

08.01.2022 We think it’s safe to say that 2020 has been a year unlike any other. For the world, for Australia and for our Goodstart team. Over the past few months people, ...families and communities have been tried and tested in the most extraordinary ways. As frontline essential workers our ‘Goodstarters’ rose to this challenge, stepping up to support our 60,000 families and 71,000 children through some incredibly challenging times. So we’ve declared this week Thank You Week! A week to celebrate and recognise our 10,000+ Goodstarters for continuing to go above and beyond in face of adversity. We have a few special surprises planned for our Goodstarters this week, but in the meantime we'd love for our Goodstart families to get involved too! 05.01.2022 We've been really busy behind the scenes working with community connections to support vulnerable families to help with inclusion of all families and children within our service. Today Miss Tamara and Miss Megan were so proud to be invited to be apart of a video for the upcoming Child Protection Week and to talk about what child protection means to us and what we do for so many children, families and our community to make sure we contribute to keeping children safe. Thank-you for thinking of us Anglicare and providing us the opportunity to be apart of this great cause. Child Protection is everybody's business.
