25.01.2022 This morning, Miss Wendy and Miss Nikki ventured down to the Saint Thomas More’s Primary School for the ‘Get Set For Prep Fun Day’ event. It was such a lovely morning, we met some of the wonderful teachers and principle. We even saw our Kindy friend Nicolas sitting in the police car! Are your Kindergarteners excited for school next year? We know ours are!

12.01.2022 Keeping our children safe is everyone's business. Today is Day For Daniel and to acknowledge such a heartfelt day we had a visit from our local QPS officers. We discussed how to be safe and even got to climb through a special police car. Have a look at our adventures!!! Thanks for visiting us - we look forward to the next visit.

Such a bitter sweet day to say goodbye to one of our much loved team but yet an exciting day as the count down starts to the arrival of bub. Here is a little bit about Miss Katherine... I was born and raised in Colombia. I came to Australia (Brisbane) in March 2016. I love children and I am passionate about working with children. I have a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. I have 5 years experience working in childcare. As an educator, I am responsible fo...r a professional level of care toward children providing a safe, fun and a variety of rich learning environment. I believe each child grows at their own developmental level and comes from a family that has their own beliefs and values. It is our responsibility to understand the child as a whole and base our curriculum according to the child´s needs. Welcome Miss Katherine! We are so happy to have you here!

09.01.2022 WOW.......One year ago, we opened our doors for the first time. Today we celebrate our Ist Anniversary here at Goodstart Centenary Heights. Its been a fantastic year welcoming so many new families and their beautiful children to our Centre and we thank you for your support. To our amazing Team.....Our director Erina and our fantastic Educators, thank you for your ongoing commitment and dedication to ensuring our children have the best start to life, going above and beyond each day to provide the quality Education and Care. You are all truly inspirational!!! HAPPY 1ST ANNIVERSARY

07.01.2022 Viewing children as active participants and decision makers opens up possibilities for educators to move beyond pre-conceived expectations about what children can do and learn. Miss Kaitlyn is doing just that by including and involving Children in decisions that affect them. Together they checked the playground, which in turn assisted the children to critical think and gain knowledge about safety. With a clip board, vest and whistle, our little helper felt a sense of belonging and felt valued for her contribution.

With so much disconnect, distancing , stresses and strains this year's R U OK Day is the perfect reminder for everyone to reach out, be kind and check in on those around us. So today we ask - R U OK? We reach out to each of you to speak up and find comfort in our open door policy. It doesn't need to be related to care, we are here for you no matter what. Not just today but everyday.

04.01.2022 In the lead up to ANZAC Day we have asked our educators to share how they like to pay their respects on ANZAC Day... Day 5: Miss Patria Anzac day will always be special for me, as my family remembers and honors my grandfather , who was a war veteran, and he was very involved in organising the anzac day service at the RSL village that he lived in for over 10 years. We attended those services, and were so proud of him. He also was asked each year to attend the service held at the Centenary Heights High School each year as a guest and a speaker. He is no longer with us but we did the driveway candle vigil last year to honor him and commemorate the dawn service at home.
