25.01.2022 Hindi story time with Sandeep Kaur

25.01.2022 Toddlers Book of the month- "The Tiger who came to tea", became a magical story today when we had High Tea with a very special guest- The Tiger himself. Children were very excited since morning as they got their special cuddly friends to play with Tiger. Toddlers made cinnamon rolls for the tea and enjoyed eating delicious cupcakes.

24.01.2022 After spending some time at the playground, soccer field, or in the backyard, it can be easy to see the dirt on our hands. What we can’t see are the invisible-to-our-eye germs that accumulate on your hands throughout the day. To help kids see the effect those germs have, we did this this eye-opening experiment a try.

24.01.2022 A Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) is a document that identifies the service's goals for quality improvement and notes some strategies for achieving those goals. 21.01.2022 Our nursery children show their curiosity and excitement towards their new set up of home corner and they love to explore different utensils and open ended material . This allows children to make sense of their immediate world. Children have numerous opportunities to work together, express their feelings, and use verbal and non-verbal language to communicate roles.

20.01.2022 Good weather calls for Good habits! Our toddlers were given an option to choose a spot for themselves. Sleeping outdoor is very beneficial for children as suggested, napping in fresh air reduces coughs and colds and increases the duration of sleep.

19.01.2022 We planted carrot seed few weeks ago in kinder. Children were waiting patiently for carrot to grow. They were watering it regularly and checking it to observe growth of carrot. Yesterday when teacher took carrot out of soil children were excited and curious to see how carrot was inside soil and they were not able to see it as it is a root. Children then planted baby carrots plant from root viewer to big graden bed to give them more space to grow. This is important because children are learning about gardening and environmentally responsible behaviour.

19.01.2022 To all Mums, Grandmas, Mums to Be, Aunties, Dads who play mum, carers and each and everyone of you! Happy Mother's Day!

16.01.2022 Today kinders started their day with musical bells. Bells are one of the most cheerful musical instruments. Music ignites all areas of child development and skills for school readiness, including intellectual, social-emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy. It helps the body and the mind work together. Exposing children to music during early development helps them learn the sounds and meanings of words.

04.01.2022 Managing our own emotions and behaviors is the key to teaching kids how to manage theirs. Unfortunately, when you’re stressed out, exhausted, and overwhelmed, it's harder to be available for your child. Identify your triggers and show up with more presence when you practice mindful parenting. Mindful parenting does not mean being a perfect parent and is not something you can fail at. Mindfulness is about letting go of guilt and shame about the past and focusing on right now.

Early Childhood Educators Day happens to coincide with the start of spring and what better way to show our appreciation than saying it with FLOWERS! Wed love to... fill the centre with some springtime joy and ask if you could possibly bring some greenery or flowers in on the day, for our centre or for the educators in your childs room. It doesnt matter whether they are from a shop, from your garden or from the side of the road they will surely put a smile on the faces of our educators! Maybe your little one would even like to create a card and draw flowers or a portrait of your favourite educator? Let your creativity run wild!
