25.01.2022 Today we came in our jeans to raise money for Genes for Jeans day!!

25.01.2022 Lifes pretty complicated right now, but theres one simple thing you can still do wear jeans, raise money, find cures. Every minute around the world, 12 kids are born with a birth defect or genetic disease. Those with cancer and many other genetic diseases are immunosuppressed and worry every day about diseases we take for granted. With COVID 19, we all now understand how they feel. When theres a vaccine and this is over for us, it will not be over for themnot until we f...ind the treatments and cures they desperately need. Thats why we are taking part in Jeans for Genes Day on Friday 7 August 2020. We encourage everyone to join us - wear your jeans and donate a gold coin or visit JeansForGenes.org.au to buy some of their awesome products or get some great ideas to raise money to help find treatments and cures for kids with genetic diseases.

09.01.2022 Fathers Day is on Sunday 6 September and Goodstart@Home has some great ideas for families who are looking for a gift thats from the heart. One of the Fathers Day activities for 3-5 year olds is Building a Memory Jar. We would love to see some photos or videos of memory jars being created for the special Dads (and other males!) of the children at our centre. Other lovely activity ideas are a Do you know how much I love you? photo book for babies, or for toddlers; creating... a Helping hand book of coupons for help getting things done around the house or garden. We hope all the Dads have a wonderful Fathers Day!
