My beautiful children Zack, Leah, Macey and baby on the way, are my inspiration. I come from a large multicultural family with Macedonian, Italian and Vietnamese. Every wednesday afternoon the kinder children enjoy yoga classes by Eternal Moksha; Namaste, Erin About me :... I am a certified Adults and Childrens Yoga Teacher and I will offer yoga, meditation, breathing techniques and mindfulness to different age groups from all walks of life. This includes many types and styles of yoga such as: Yin & Yang, Yoga for Beginners, Hatha, Yin, Prenatal, Mums & Bubs, Kids Yoga/Meditation/Relaxation. 23.01.2022 All of our educators here at Goodstart Delacombe would like to say a big thank you to all the mums, grandmothers, aunties and special people who cam along and celebrated Mothers Day afternoon tea with us on Friday. 21.01.2022 Covid update for centre tours as of 18/2/2021 if you are looking at having a tour of our centre we have a few requirements: Centre tours can recommence following these guidelines;... must not be held during busy times ie. drop off and pick up times tours times available are 10/10;30 am and between 1 and 2 pm please make a booking for these times to insure no other bookings are made for same times. comply with physical distancing and room capacity requirements masks must be worn and you will need to sign into visitors register. alternatively if these times don't work for you please see our virtual tour video posted here on our Facebook page Thank you centre director slavica Harrison

19.01.2022 SPRING IS COMING! The sun is coming out and the UV levels are rising! It is part of our SunSmart Policy that our children and educators wear hats and sunscreen during UV levels of 3 and above. Please ensure that you pack your child's hat (broad brimmed) each day, instead of their beanie, as of next Monday, 3rd of September. We provide sunscreen for all children, however if your child requires their own individual sunscreen for any reason, please provide this to staff in your room. We are looking forward to getting out and enjoying the sunshine!

Everyone can be a Superhero, whether youre at school, at work or with a group of friends. Thank you for your support we raised $71.70

13.01.2022 Dear Families Goodstart Delacombe is committed in making a difference in childrens lives. Thats why together we would like to donate gift bags full of art and craft activities for children at the Royal Children Hospital who are undergoing cancer treatment. So many children find themselves confined in a hospital ward, unable to leave their rooms. Parents always looking for ways to entertain their children. We can make a difference just by a smile on a childs face. I know b...ecause I was one of those parents, my 3 year old was undergoing cancer treatment for 2 years , she had the biggest smile on her face when there was a gift waiting at the end of her bed for her. (pic below My daughter Leah and her many craft days.) If you would like to donate we have 2 options: 1. You can bring in your own chosen/bought craft activities and we will place it in the gift bags or 2. You can donate money and we will purchase the gifts. A Few educators and I are hoping to go down to the childrens hospital on Friday 9th of November and deliver the gifts to the children. (if we can please have any donations by wed 31st October.) 13.01.2022 Today in the Kinder Room we got chickens and eggs from Henny Penny Hatching Melbourne West and Geelong to observe and learn about the life cycle of chickens! The Kinder children will be able to watch the eggs hatch and look after the chickens for the next two weeks! If you would like to come into the Kinder Room with your child to meet the chickens, please feel free to do so!

Goodstart Early Learning are looking for some casual educators to work across all the Goodstart Early Learning centres in Ballarat so feel free and come to our open night here at Delacombe.

The preparation leading up to today, and especially our lovely cooks for preparing the food. Everyone worked so well as a TEAM I'm proud of you all. 09.01.2022 Here at Goodstart Delacombe we are collecting the Earn and Learn stickers from Woolworths! There is a box in each of our foyers for you to pop your stickers in and also a box at the Sebastopol Woolworths with our centre name on it! These stickers are a great opportunity for us to collect new equipment and resources for our service! Your contribution would be greatly appreciated!

09.01.2022 On Friday, October the 26th, from 10am to 3pm, we are having a visit from Parklands Mini Farm here at Goodstart Delacombe! This will give your child the opportunity to meet and engage with some farm animals right here at the centre! Each room will be given a time slot between 10am and 3pm to ensure everyone has an opportunity to enjoy this experience! If you have any questions or concerns about this event, in particular if your child has any allergies or fears of animals, please see staff in your room to discuss these!

07.01.2022 At Goodstart Delacombe, we are joining with Kelly Sports Greater Ballarat to support the charity of "Play it Forward", collecting pre-loved sporting clothing and equipment to donate to less privileged children in East Africa. We have donation boxes in each of our foyers, so please see the link attached and if you have anything to donate, please drop it to one of the collection boxes in our foyers! Donations will be collected on the 8th of May, 2019.

04.01.2022 As posted yesterday, next week we will be celebrating National Superhero Week by dressing as our favourite Superhero for the week and raising money and awareness for Muscular Dystrophy Australia. There are donation boxes in each building at the front desk and will be boxes in each room throughout the week, however if you prefer to donate online, please follow the link below to donate to our mycause page for the event!

02.01.2022 On Friday the 9th of November educators , Sonya, Belinda, Olivia and myself visited The Royal Childrens Hospital to donate gift bags full of art and craft for the children undergoing cancer treatment. It was an emotional day as it hit close to home for me, though it was so amazing to see big smiles on childrens faces. one little girls mum said " oh thank you so much she has been asking for paints for weeks now. We also received this email from one family that night ; Hel...lo Today my son Ardithya who is ten received art supplies from you at the royal children day cancer. It made him happy to paint the ceramic pots and a good distraction from treatment. Just wanted to say thank you . We are from Ballarat and it was nice to see a familiar name .
