14.01.2022 Hi Families, with the tragedy that is happening with the bushfires we want to help at a local level as much as we can! I have talked to June our local wildlife carer who takes care of animals from near & far & to help you can buy vouchers from the below places in town who June has connections with - Maraboon vets (medical supplies) IGA (fruit / food supplies) Mitre 10 (garden / boundary supplies) ... Highlands pets & produce If you would like to purchase something other than vouchers, June would appreciate Uncle Tobys rolled oats in the box, neocare bird raising mix, general bird mix & freeze dried crickets. Please drop any vouchers / food items off at the centre, thank you for your generosity!

13.01.2022 Today our educators all completed the First Aid Training. We had the opportunity to run through different scenarios and gain vital first aid skill sets that are directly related to the early childhood setting.

08.01.2022 Today we had our usual intergenerational visit from Ozcare in Kindergarten but had some of the younger children join us! It was so heartwarming to watch the different generations connect together! #TogetherTheresNoLimit

03.01.2022 The bushfire situation across Australia is heartbreaking so we are reaching out to offer special support to our volunteer firefighters. If you are a volunteer f...irefighter and are actively fighting the current bushfires we would like to support you to access up to 6 weeks of free care for your child/ren at our centres. You dont have to be a current Goodstart family to qualify for this offer, the offer applies to any eligible* families across our Australian communities. Please reach out to our Family Support Team at [email protected] or speak with your Centre Director directly so we can support you to access this as soon as possible. *Offer must be used by the last day in February. Proof of membership and deployment information will need to be provided. Speak to our team for further information.

03.01.2022 Sam our local community member from Emeralds child safety team will be kindly visiting our Kindergarten each fortnight to embed cultural awareness. Yesterday we learnt about the Aboriginal and TSI flags in detail! We are also excited to be in communication with Ozcare to start intergenerational visits shortly! We will keep you posted!

01.01.2022 What a fantastic Superhero day we had! We raised over $60 for Muscular Dystrophy Australia and had our Fire & Ambulance services including Blazer attend who are true Superheros! Thank you for everything you do especially during this time! We appreciate you!
