In Victoria, teachers are provisionally registered for 2 years after graduating with their teaching degree. As part of their pathway to becoming a fully registered teacher, they are required to demonstrate that they meet all 7 Australian Professional Standards for Teachers at the proficient level. As you can imagine, much time and effort goes into the development of the necessary skills and knowledge to be considered a proficient teacher. 19.01.2022 The children have been working hard to make a special something for the police men and women that help us, and keep our community safe. So to say thank you we invited some officers from Epping police station to visit, and collect the art work that we had made for them. While they were here we got to hear the siren on the police car and see the lights flashing. Then at the end of the visit we had someone on the police radio from head office say hi to all the children. We would like to thank all emergency service workers for all the work that they do for us.

18.01.2022 R U OK?Day is our national day of action dedicated to reminding everyone to ask, Are you OK? and to remember every day of the year to support people who may be struggling with lifes ups and downs. As challenging and unpredictable this years been we believe our children and Educators have demonstrated great resilience and connection towards each other. From our experiences in the rooms, shared ideas to our intentional meal plans we strive every day to ensure we are there f...or our children, families, community and each other. To make this day extra special, we organised special activities e.g. yoga, Goodstart Behavior Kit with children to support and encourage them to be expressive about their emotions and feelings and for our amazing Educators we had fresh juices, light music, candles and chocolates just in case they are thinking about their much needed spa sessions

If you are a volunteer f...irefighter and are actively fighting the current bushfires we would like to support you to access up to 6 weeks of free care for your child/ren at our centres. You dont have to be a current Goodstart family to qualify for this offer, the offer applies to any eligible* families across our Australian communities. 12.01.2022 My name is Claire Thomas, Im a mum of three children (16, 14 and 11 years) and have been working in early childhood for over 10 years across a variety of age groups. I have been studying my Bachelor in Early Years Education with ACU since 2015. My passion for my own children and watching them grow and evolve is what led me into early childhood education, I am a hands-on educator and I thoroughly enjoy getting involved in play with children. I believe that with the right support system; centre/educators/family there are no limits to what a child can achieve. Providing a nurturing homely environment that provides for each childs individuality is vital to helping them grow. I really look forward to getting to know you and your children and learning all about you all.

The resource book is filled with activity ideas that can easily be implemented at home to continue to prepare the children for school. 03.01.2022 Hi Families We are sad to announce the retirement of our beautiful Kinder Teacher Anne. Annes last day will be this Thursday 26th of March 2020. We wish Anne all the best with her future endeavours , she will be missed by all. We are pleased to also announce that Amanda will be stepping up as a kinder teacher along side Yin. Amanda has been with the company for 10 years and has had many years with the current kinder children.... Katelyn will be stepping up as the group leader in Pre Kinder One with Aneta.
