25.01.2022 Just a reminder that school photos are happening at the centre this week on Thursday 24th and Friday 25th September. Please ensure you return your child's unique envelope with their names and the correct amount if paying by cash, as no change will be given. If your child does not attend on these days, you are still welcome to pop in and have their photos taken. Thank you, The Estella Team

14.01.2022 It's NAIDOC Week! How will you be celebrating? This weekend our educator, Sacha and her family went for a walk along the Wollundry Lagoon and Murrumbidgee River, stopping along the way to observe the current display at the Wollundry Lagoon, where you can see traditional Muriin (bark canoes).... Still living in the time of Covid-19, a lot of celebrations have moved online. You can find some of Wagga's NAIDOC Week celebrations by clicking the link below. https://wagga.nsw.gov.au///aboriginal-services/naidoc-week

12.01.2022 Our national day of action is today and when we remind Australians that every day is the day to ask, Are you OK? By starting a conversation and commenting on the changes you’ve noticed, you could help that family member, friend or workmate open up. If they say they are not ok, you can follow our conversation steps to show them they’re supported and help them find strategies to better manage the load. If they are ok, that person will know you’re someone who cares enough to ask. Visit ruok.org.au for the steps and more information.

08.01.2022 It's NAIDOC Week! Goodstart Estella would like to acknowledge and show our respect to the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we learn and play, the Wiradjuri people. We show our respect to the Elders, past, present and emerging and all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples of our nation, for they hold the knowledge, culture, traditions, languages, spirit, hopes and plans for the future of all Indigenous Australians. This week at the centre we will be celebrating and continuing to learn about the rich cultures, traditions and languages of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

03.01.2022 From the garden to our plates! Spring is here and our vegetable patch and herb gardens are starting to produce the goods. We look forward to learning all about sustainability, healthy foods, different dishes from around the world and using our produce in our meals at the centre. Please help yourself to our community garden out the front where you will currently find lots of herbs on offer. Thank you,... The team at Goodstart Estella
